Great tour with great guide - The tour was amazing. Lits of interesting facts about queer history and history in general. I really recommend to do the tour as soon as you arrive in Lisbon. You'll see lots of sights but also get some recommendations for food, attractions, parties, etc. from the guide.

A real queer tour through Lisbon - Me and my partner took part in the Historical Walking Tour with Julie and Paula as our guides, and we had the most incredible time! We learned such amazing stories, the history of the revolution and colonialism, and queer legends/icons from Portugal ♡♡♡ I can't recommend this tour enough. Not only do you feel like you gain an understanding of queer life in Lisbon but you meet the most lovely and kind people, and get shown great local queer businesses and initiatives to support! Will definitely be back again to do the nightlife tour :)

The best tour I’ve ever had - An amazing tour of Lisbon that combines political and queer history/culture. Had so much fun learning the city and walked away with a great list of places to visit, eat or dance at. Will do again!

Best Tour I’ve Been On Ever - Wow. What an incredible experience! Highly recommend this tour (especially if you can do it early on in your trip, because the guide recommends great restaurants and cool spots that are queer-owned in the city). This tour was very informative, and it was also immediately a safe space… our guide made the small group feel like a community, made the history come alive, and made the whole experience feel personal. Knowledgeable, engaging, patient with a million questions…. I stayed in Lisbon for a week and this remains the most memorable and impactful part of my visit. BOOK THIS TOUR!

Highly recommended for socially conscious people who want to see a different side of Lisbon. - We had a great tour bringing to light some of the lesser-discussed aspects of Portuguese history, namely the suppression and violence suffered by the queer community over many hundreds of years. Our guide was passionate, knowledgeable and informed, and she took the time to answer all our questions. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone interested in Portugal's colonial, political, and progressive history, or to anyone interested in minority rights (queer, migrant, etc). The map provided also has some fantastic recommendations which we went to several of.

Queer Eye for the Lisbon Guide - I have been living in Lisbon for 10 years now and I was genuinely surprised by this tour that showed me the city under a completely different perspective. One that I wouldn't be able to see on my own or in any other tour. Learning the hidden queer history of Lisbon combined with a unique social gathering and activities make this tour really one-of-a-kind.

Amazing, Even for those who already love here in Lisbon - A wonderful experience without a doubt, even for people who already live in Lisbon, being able to get to know it from this perspective is very useful and inspiring. I will not see things the same way after this tour. It is an activity that just needs you to be open and connect with your humanity to enjoy and learn.
