A wonderful day trip with an enthusiastic tour guide - The trip was well organised and covered everything we wanted to do and see. Katie was an amazing tour guide who kept the energy going all day and had incredible knowledge of the area.

The best way to get to know Sintra and Cascais - I loved the tour! We went with a couple of friends who came to Portugal for the first time. It was, without a doubt, the best way to get to know Sintra and Cascais on the same day, going to the main tourist attractions and without worrying about traffic and parking (especially in Sintra). Well-organized guided tour, following the scheduled times and routes, with entry included to the Palácio da Pena, and along which we can enjoy stunning landscapes.

Perfect Timing - The timing is perfect! I enjoy every spot we went to. Also, National Palace of Sintra is fantastic, which I went to in the free 2 hours. Pena is also very special since it combined different cultures in it. Many thanks to our guide and driver! 时机非常完美!我很喜欢我们去过的每一个地方。另外,辛特拉国家宫也很棒,我在免费的 2 小时内参观了它。佩纳也很特别,因为它融合了不同的文化。非常感谢我们的导游和司机!

Sintra Luxo - a good way to see Sintra, visit the Peña Palace and get to see Cascais and the coast as well - I’m not usually a huge tour person but was keen to go to Sintra and visit the Peña Palace and this seemed a relatively inexpensive and straightforward way to go. So, no great expectations, but I have to say I really enjoyed it (even on a damp day in Sintra). The tour was made by the wonderful guide Daniela. She had a multilingual group so had to do everything in English and Portuguese (a good way of getting your ear in if you are trying to learn). She worked very hard and was unfailingly friendly and cheerful. My friend and I enjoyed her knack for reframing problems - the journey down from Peña (steep, windy and narrow!) became “Vitor’s chance to shine!” He certainly did shine - I wouldn’t want to drive a coach along those roads. Thank you Vitor for doing a great job.

The day was good, putting... - The day was good, putting Sintra pena palace at the very end of the day makes it a long day with a lot of walking, plus the crowds or excessive at that time we didn’t get there till 430. I would recommend putting that first and working the way back.

Big multi lingual group tour not for me - Locations visited were a good agenda however often too long at places eg 30 minutes at what is a quick picture stop. The guide spoke 3 languages this meant it took three times as long for each message and quite often just tuned out when got to English. Finally this is a big group tour so when you get to the Pena palace the ticket is included you have to live with the group and wait to get through each level. If you are doing Pena palace get your own ticket so you can move at your pace

This tour is pretty bad, I don’t recommend. - We got the Sintra deluxe tour through Grey Line. They were suppose to pickup and drop off at hotel. They dropped us up at the bus square (not hotel) and told everybody on the bus that they are on their own. We took a Uber back to hotel. Second issue, they talked in Portuguese but other languages are weak and skipped. Sometime they speak so fast no one understand the guide. The guide is useless and not helpful, we can’t ask questions inside the bus, guide does not seem to care about the tourists. When they drop us to a site, we have to figure out everything on our own. We did tons of tours around the world, but this one is a big no no! Chose another group!

Do NOT book with Cityrama - Do NOT book with Cityrama Gray Line. They are a SCAM. My hotel booked a day tour with them. They gave me the incorrect pick up location. I arrived at the location they told me, and I quickly realized no one was there and called the company. They told me that they gave me the incorrect pick up location and I should go to their main office to join the tour 15 minutes away. They said that they would wait for me. I paid for a car to take me to the new location. When I got there, the office said the tour left, and they didn’t wait for me, and they can NOT help me. I missed my tour to Sintra and had the worse day because of it. I had to pay for transportation back to my hotel. I contacted customer service, and they said it was not their fault that they gave me the WRONG information and they can’t do anything to compensate me or do anything for them giving me FALSE information. They ruined my trip. Cityrama has NO customer service, abd LIARS, and a scam. There are other tour companies. Be smart and do NOT travel with them.
