Great tour (make sure you get your ticketing right!), top quality guide. - Hugo is right up there with the best guides we have ever encountered. He is knowledgeable, friendly and funny. The trip flew by. A bit unlucky with the weather up at Sintra Pena Palace (wet, windy, cold) and the ticketing for the palace is too fragmented and oversubscribed - just make sure you get all the tickets you need in advance.

Our trip to Sintra, Cabo De Roca and Cascai! - We were very excited for our trip to Sintra,, Cabo de Roca and Cascai! Our guide , Hugo met us at the Lisbon train station. This tour was much more intimate than we had expected , which was awesome , it was only 3 couples! Our first stop was the village of Sintra , we enjoyed some pastry and coffee and had an opportunity to look in a local gift shop. We were also given an opportunity to purchase shuttle tickets to the entrance of the palace. We had an 11:30 entry time (we had prepaid/timed entry into the Pena Palace which was very helpful ) that is no longer offered on all of their trips, be aware. The bus ride up required some patience on our part. There seems to be 3 rotating buses but it took a while for them to arrive. But definitely easier than the hike up. Absolutely Worth the 3 euros per person.! The palace was spectacular so glad we experienced it. We met Hugo where he dropped us and we then headed to the Cabo de Roca , most western point on the European continent. This had spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean! Next we headed to Cascais, what a great seaside town! Hugo dropped us off around 2:30 and gave us till 4pm to grab lunch and shop! He made a great lunch recommendation! We ate at one of them …it was delicious, Restaurant Luzmar! We all met at the van at 4pm and headed back to Lisbon, which was a pretty quick ride! Hugo was fantastic, so knowledgeable ! He was a wealth of information throughout the trip! Highly recommend!

excellent photo opps and fascinating cultural insights. - Our driver Hugo was wonderful - he is a bonafide history major and gave a wonderful account of key historical events that make Lisbon, Sintra and the coast what it is today. Good storyteller and very good driver! He kept us on time without nagging, and he even gave us music to dance to at the beach. Hugo recommended a wonderful shop of all Portuguese made items when we stopped in Sintra. When I misplaced a package Hugo checked his van for me and offered to deliver it to my hotel - I found it and this was not needed but Hugo was so supportive and willing to help. Our group of 10 split up between two vans but we were able to stay together throughout the day. The drivers coordinated and made it all work for us! The whole day was filled with excellent photo ops and fascinating cultural insights. Great tour company!!

Most knowledgeable guide ever - Our guide, Hugo, could be a university lecturer. He talked about Portugal’s history and had so many dates at his fingertips. We had a fantastic time with him and thought this the best tour of our trip. Many thanks for a wonderful time.

Unhappy clients - The trip was good. But unlike the other tours we booked through viator this guide didn't send us any confirmation when we contracted he just said he is driving look in viator where the pick up is. He was rude unfriendly. He has no customer service what's so ever. He said he was 40 years a tour driver and he hates the job. So what more????

Disappointing Service - To clarify, we booked a tour but weren't able to go because my husband got food poisoning the night before the tour. I suspect the tour itself would have been great, but we weren't able to find out. My complaint is the service afterwards when we were trying to cancel our reservation and discuss a refund. After a number of phone calls I was able to reach someone and he assured me that he'd process our refund when he returned to the office (he was currently leading another tour). Since then I haven't heard anything from anyone in the company, nor have we received our refund. I'm still hoping to talk to someone and sort this out but at the moment I can't recommend this tour company.
