Highly recommended day out! - Was going to try to put a trip to just Sintra together ourselves via public transport but I am so glad I took the recommendation of a friend and booked these guys. We had Tania as our driver. She is very friendly and courteous, making sure she learnt all our names (6 of us on the tour) at the start. She was hugely informative and interesting in her talks at each stop whilst also bothering to ask us individual questions about ourselves - the personal touch which was lovely. Some reviews have said too much talking...I disagree; there is a lot of very interesting stuff to hear about Portugal's history and Tania was very good at it. She gave us plenty of time to explore in peace but was always available to answer questions. The structure of the day gave a very good snapshot of the heritage of Portugal and its former Royal family's life as well as seeing the rugged and beautiful coastline. Some tours I looked at dont include entry tickets to Pena Palace but this one does and I would highly recommend this as entry is timed and Lisbon Riders sort this out to fit in with their tour schedule. In short, I highly recommend this tour; great value; great tour guide in Tania who I have to say was also a great driver on these busy and winding roads. Some would say it's a long day...but you're on holiday! What else do you have to do!!! Sit back in a very comfy people carrier and let Lisbon Riders do the hard bit. Thanks Lisbon Riders

A Lovely Day Just Outside of Lisbon - This was a great experience from start to finish, led capably by our warm and welcoming guide, Liliana. With a morning visit to Sintra to get a feel for the town, we had time to explore its small alleys and hills without the crush of large tour groups that often descend later in the day. Then it was off to Cabo da Roca for a brief stop and a lovely shoreside drive to Cascais for lunch and more free time. Pena Palace was saved for the last stop of the afternoon, which meant that while there were still lots of people (this is always the case given its popularity), some relief from large morning groups having dispersed was found. Liliana shared her love of food and history with us throughout the day, which only improved a beautiful day filled with beautiful sites. Highly recommended!

A Fairytale Day! - What a fabulous day! Maria was the best, so knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited and of the artistic styles that adorned the places we saw. A tour everyone visiting the area should do!

An amazing tour ! We were... - An amazing tour ! We were running late to the meeting time (due to no taxi's at the cruise port exit) but our tour guide, Lilly, texted and was able to wait for us to arrive - so grateful. The touring van was clean, comfortable, strong AC, and our tour guide used a microphone. She was an excellent driver, descriptive speaker, funny, kind and knew all the ins and outs to create a seamless day of touring. Sintra and the Pena Palace were amazing and when she recommends the pastry shop in Sintra - GO ! We enjoyed our day immensely and we would highly recommend.

Sintra is definitely worth a visit especially with a great tour guide! - If a review is too glowing it’s easy to discount it as a “fake” or “too good to be real”, but trust me, the following review is honest and genuine. My husband and I wanted to see Sintra during our stay in Lisbon and were so fortunate to find this tour on line. We were however not expecting it to be the amazing experience that it was! We were so fortunate to have the fabulous Diogo as our tour guide! ☺️ Personable, well read, knowledgeable, considerate and passionate about Portugal, Diogo made the whole outing fascinating and interesting. We saw many incredible places. Would they have “grabbed us”, if we had gone solo? No! We were given “background “ storyline’s making each place not just a landmark, but a part of Portugal’s rich heritage. I would recommend the day tour and if possible ask for Diogo as your guide. We even had people from other tour groups surreptitiously listening to Diogo, because of the amazing delivery of information!

Good tour! - A very good tour with the timings worked out well to give you enough time to enjoy each stop. Our guide Kat was friendly and informative throughout the day. Be aware this is a long tour with a lot of walking, but this is a great way to see a lot of sights in one day!
