Must do Sintra excursion - A must do while in Portugal. It rained but it was still an absolutely magical and dramatic experience. It was wonderfully spooky with the fold and rain. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and a wonderful guide. He guided us but also allowed us plenty of time to explore on our own. Don't miss out on this experience.

Excellent from start to finish - The tour was as described and the day was very enjoyable and interesting. An early start meant that we beat the crowds to Pena Palace and so our visit was much more pleasant than it otherwise would have been. Our guide Andre was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful with tips and information about our visit. He created a great atmosphere and experience for us. He was also very well equipped with waterproof clothing and umbrellas. The day was a huge success and I would highly recommend this trip to others.

Fun and personal tour - Our guide, Andre, was excellent. He organised the tour so that we avoided the worst of the crowds, provided informative and fun commentary and drove us carefully and safely around Sintra and the coast. We really enjoyed the small group atmosphere which made the tour more personal that larger tours we have been on. Finally really appreciated Andre's dry sense of humour!

Incredible architecture, views, history and beauty! - Our tour expert Andre had the best personality and had his historical facts on point. He took the time to get to know us. He then took us to the palace of which he gave all of the history and facts. He knew so much information about this beautiful structures past. Getting there early was key to get ahead of the crowds. Then it was on to the Regaleira with its fascinating history and meaningful stairway and maze underground as well as through beautiful grounds. Again Andre had so many insightful stories about the place. We went into Sintra for some lunch and shopping followed by a stop at the southernmost peninsula of Europe with its breathtaking views. He drove us back to Lisbon along the gorgeous coast and recommended top choices for food, shopping, museums and locations to visit in Lisbon, Porto and Lagos. Andres energy and love for his country made this excursion top notch!

Fun, relaxed, but informative tour… Definitely recommend - This was a great tour. Worth the early start to avoid the queues. Our guide was knowledgeable, informative and interesting without information overload. She was also super friendly and relaxed which made for a comfortable day with a small group. The timings of the day worked really well and the lunch recommendation was well worth it too!

Peña palace especially as... - Peña palace especially as we were very early beating the crowds. Our guide was really informative and planned everything brilliantly.

Fun Day at Sintra Palaces - Andre was a great host and made the day extra special. We liked that he took the time to have everyone in our group introduce themselves and talk a bit about our travel plans. It was a nice icebreaker and allowed us to get acquainted. The van was very comfortable with a/c. The itinerary was well planned and his coordination with a recommended restaurant allowed us to skip quite a line. And the food was wonderful! Andre provided good background info on each site we visited, as well as Portugal and its culture and history. On they way back he gave each of us some valuable recommendations for the rest of our travels tailored to our itineraries.

Perfectly planned and executed day trip - Such a great day trip!!! Very well planned, timing works out perfectly and you feel so taken care of! Wish we had a little more time in downtown Sintra, but alas a reason to return! Andre gave great information and was very easy to get along with. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!!!

Sintra day tour - The entire tour was fantastic in many ways, as our guide was very personal in her approach, made us feel very welcome. Tour off in Lisbon and shuttled us to Pina palace early to avoid the lines. She was with us every part of the way, and gave plenty of time to sightsee, helped us take photos too. Loved the initiation well, where we walked down a spiral stairwell into the bottom, was very neat experience.

Fantastic day - What a great day trip went so smoothly, Andre is a great tour guide very informative he knows his stuff and a very nice guy ,pick up was on time the small group tour is great you get to know a bit about all your guests and it makes it a lot easier to remember there names The tour itself was fantastic worth every cent, Andre suggested a place for lunch ( you didn't have to go you could go elsewhere) so glad we did the food was fantastic I'd even go as far and say was one of the best we had and not expensive Got to sintra nice and early one of the first in line which was great for photos with no one in the way,the rest of the day was so good as well I would recommend this to anyone,thanks again Andre well done 👏 ✔️
