A two-hour boat sail on the Tagus river is an excellent route to explore the city of Lisbon seeing it from its best standpoint. Enjoy city landscapes from an unparalleled viewpoint and a gorgeous sunset as you navigate the serene waters of the Tagus river in a grand and cozy sailing yacht. Visit landmarks such as the Belém Tower, Terreiro do Paço while cruising past Cristo Rei, Discovery Monument and the 25th April Bridge.
Take into consideration that this excursion will be on either sailing vessels (10-12 individuals) or sailing catamarans (16-18 individuals). Larger parties will be divided as per the boat’s capacity.

Highly Recommend! - Perfect way to kick off my time in Lisbon. Pedro was friendly and knowledgeable. I learned a lot about the various attractions that line the Tagus River which set me up with ideas of what I wanted to see more of during my time in Lisbon. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful and scenic 2 hour river cruise. - Our host were spectacular. Very friendly and engaging. The views from the river great. It was nice to see the city from this perspective. Complimentary beverages including wine and beer came with the trip. Blankets and additional jackets were available when it got cold.

Excellent sunset cruise - Excellent service from start to finish for my friend's 60th. We had a private 2 hour sunset cruise that was hosted by Bruno and Bruno. I had arranged for catering prior to sailing and this was plentiful and tasty.
Beautiful evening to sail and a perfect birthday surprise for my friend.
Communication excellent before and during with Tagus Cruises.

Promenade that can not miss when visiting Lisbon - We hired the excursion "Sailboat ride at sunset", and we really loved it.
It was a two hour walk with spectacular views of Lisbon and the 25 de Abril Bridge.
The skipper of the Manuel boat also explained part of the history of the city and the bridge.
We were cold at the end of the walk, especially because it was getting dark, but they took out some blankets to cover us. They're all over it.
An unforgettable and essential excursion.

Can’t miss sunset sailboat ride! - Could not have been more perfect. The first drink is included, we cozied up at the front of the sailboat with two beers. The ride was smooth and brought us up next to landmarks, which James described to us in excellent English and with enthusiasm and even humor. He really knows his history! He brought us blankets when it got chilly. We passed by old town Lisbon and circled back JUST in time to loiter for 10 minutes and watch the sun dip below the horizon before going back into the marina. The timing was impeccable, the ride smooth, the breeze spectacular, the service friendly and joyful. Wouldn’t miss this on your trip to Lisbon. Thank you James and Alex!

Beautiful experience to sail on the Tagus at sunset. - Sailing on the Tagus at sunset is amazing. Loved seeing some of the monuments from the water vantage point, like the Discovery Monument.
The crew were so lovely, very informative, with a great vibe.
Would absolutely recommend.

Amazing sunset sail with James and Gil - What an amazing experience - definitely a “don’t miss” thing to do in Lisbon. James, our Captain, and Gil are fantastic sailors and fantastic hosts. They shared tons of information about Lisbon’s history - both knowledgeable and entertaining.
We had about 20 knots of wind, with gusts up to 25 knots. James and Gil kept the mainsail up the entire time, but kept it double reefed and weren’t able to put up the jib (genoa). The river is protected so there weren’t really any waves/swells, and a half dozen of the passengers stayed comfortably on the forward deck for the two hour sail while the other 6 of us were in the cockpit.

Harbor cruise with perfect sunset timing - Excellent cruise with just 10 passengers on a sailing boat. Price includes a complementary drink and small snack. Both tour hosts/sailers were friendly and spoke multiple languages. The sunset timing was PERFECT. If you don’t want the crowds and noise of the party boats, this is definitely a great choice. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

Best experience! - Great crew! So relaxing and beautiful! Discussed the growth of Portugal and the tourism. Only 6 people on the cruise and plenty of room. Beautiful sunset!
