Alentejo Wine Region tour - Our guide was Bruno who was wonderful. Bruno was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining and kept the conversation alive and engaging. He answered every question very thoughtfully. We visited the cork factory on our first stop and then the Ervideira Winery tour and tasting. Then a stop in Evora to see the sights and back to Lisbon. It was a full day that passed very quickly and was so enjoyable we highly recommend this tour and ask for Bruno as your guide!

Corker of a tour! - Nuno proved an exceptional guide for this full day tour. We enjoyed that the tour included learning about the natural history of the area - Nuno pointed out in particular the flamingos and white storks. He taught us so much the agriculture of Alentejo, and we especially liked learning about the trees and the cork harvest. Nuno further introduced us to the archaeology and art of the area. We were amazed by the Megaliths and thrilled that the tour included a Roman temple, the chapel of bones and an incredible view from the top of the tower in Evora. Nuno's ability to communicate clearly and adapt the tour as needed for rest stops / walking pace, etc. were appreciated. Nuno gave us a great suggestion for a place for lunch and made sure that we got to our hotel easily. All in all, it was a very wide ranging tour in terms of topics and periods of time covered and, with Nuno as our guide, it was fantastic!

Great experience with private tour of Evora and Megaliths - We loved the private tour - Nuno (the guide) was a pleasure to talk with, and his knowledge of the area was extensive and helpful the entire way. He was very accommodating (we were on a cruise and had a tight schedule), and he ensured we saw the parts of the tour that were most important to us with extra time. The megaliths were amazing - 7500 years of history! The Bone Chapel in Evora was stunning, very impressive and solemn. The walking tour of Evora he took us on was also very pleasant, and not too strenuous despite there being plenty of hills in Evora. Over all, it was well worth the money and time.

Visit to Evora and the stone corcle of Almendres - Nuno was an excellent guide - knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. We visited the Cromelech of Almendres and the beautiful city of Evora. Nuno explained everything clearly and even showed us a dolmen which was not part of the itinerary. Thank you Nuno!

A fabulous day with an excellent guide. - João was a wonderful guide. He was open to any suggestions from us, but being first-timers, we were very happy to go with his suggestions. We were captivated by the standing stones in the midst of a cork oak forest, as well as the sites of Évora. . The day was relaxed and leisurely, but we felt we had seen all we wanted to, and even a special - another little hilltop castle. Would recommend this tour for people interested in history, art and architecture, and a glimpse of life outside Lisbon.
