Enlightening, enjoyable experience in Evora and Monsaraz - We had a great day in Evora and Mansaraz. Our tour guide was very friendly and accommodating, providing a lot of guided time with interesting information as well as time to explore the areas on our own. Both Evora and Mansaraz are beautiful old towns, much quieter than Lisbon but full of history and culture. We loved learning about and seeing the influence of Rome and Morocco and the views in Monsaraz were amazing. The bone chapel in Evora is an astonishing place to witness, and the other sites were incredible to experience as well. The wine tasting was near the wineries with informative staff and though we have had more direct winery tours in other places, we both really enjoyed it and left with a few bottles. The whole day was memorable and one of the highlights of our week spent in Lisbon.

Excellent Day in Evora and Reguenos de Monsaraz - Goncalo was professional, welcoming, interesting, knowledgeable and his love of his home country Portugal was evident throughout the day. Good driver. Highly recommend his tours through TugaTours.

Monsaraz was unexpected highlight! - Excursion was a laidback tour of Évora sights followed by stunning 8th century walled city with incredible views!
Free time allowed for lunch and exploring the site followed by local wine tasting.

Unexpected gem - Unexpectedly fantastic day trip out of Lisbon. Monsaraz was a gorgeous gem of a town and the guide was very informative and entertaining.

An amazing Day Trip! Thanks Diogo! - The trip was amazing and could not have been better. Our tour guide Diogo was informative, flexible and fun to travel with. We were lucky to be a small tour with 2 couples - we had a blast with them. We loved Monsaraz.... you have to try the pork cheek stew at the restaurant. The wine tasting was alot of fun - again very informative and the presenter was informative. Would highly recommend

Very nice, historic, welcoming people, good restaurants, fun to explore and see different panoramas. - Visit the Chapel of Bones, impressive, skulls are an integral part of the walls of this chapel.

Fantastic tour of Monsaraz! - We took the Évora, medieval village Monsaraz & Wine Tasting tour. It’s a couple hours from Lisbon, and is well worth the trip. Monsaraz has gorgeous views, Évora has a great history, and the wine tasting was enjoyable. Highly recommended!

5 star tour…three star guide - Evora and Monsaraz are worth seeing and the wine tasting was a surprise win at the end. Unfortunately our guide Roberto left a little to be desired. He was arrogant and off putting at times - for example at the beginning of the tour we were waiting across the street where we thought we were supposed to be and looking for the red flag, which he didn’t have. When they finally called us and motioned us over he acted like we were to blame for making him late.

Probably a miss - The meal was average, wine nice. Noisy and very busy with a large corporate group.
