I stood up consistently for the first time - Honestly the best surf lesson I ever got. Pedro was so knowledgeable and gave me personalized tips instead of generic ones I received from other surf schools. I stood up consistently after some pointers so it's a big win. Also, the beach is amazing and beautiful, be sure to take pics!

Top Surf Lesson in Lisboa - We took a surf & life lesson with Pedro in Caparica. First, he has been flexible for the location of the pick-up. Then as a coach he was very patient and efficient. In fact, one of us was a beginner and Pedro took a lot of dedication to help him ride his first wave :) Amazing experience !

Fantastic experience - Fantastic lesson with Pedro, couldn’t recommend it enough! A transfer from Lisbon was super convenient, the beach was lovely and our instructor Pedro was exceptional. Both me and my boyfriend managed to stand on the board for the first time after Pedro’s instructions and had a few good surfs!

Perfect Surfday - We had a wonderful day at Carcavelos beach. The guys from Carcavelos Surf School were very nice and have a super positive vibe. We had a surf lesson for the first time and had so much fun. Especially the surf instructor Nuno was very nice and took a lot of time for us. The beach and the surf school are a must do when in Portugal.

Great service and teaching! - Booked a surf day with my boyfriend. Skipped the transfer and lived in Carcavelos. Worked great. They divided the group based on experience. Very service minded and friendly. Booked another day after the first lesson. Totally worth it!

Excellent Surf School in a superb location - After I had rented surfboards to Pedro for a few surf trips in May, I came back with a group of friends for a week end in Portugal & we decided to book a surf course. The teaching was very professional and tailored to everyone different needs. We had a lot of instructors in the water with us that were dedicated to helps us learn &/or improve. The location is fabulous & Pedro in addition to being a great surf teacher is a great adviser on where to go & what to do in Lisbon or Portugal more broadly. In a sentence, if you want to learn surf in Portugal, Carcavelos Surf School is the place for you.

Amazing experience! Highly recommended!!! I wish I had more days to go back! - My trip to Portugal was only for a week, and I really wanted to try surfing. I found Carcavelos Surf School had the best offer when I was researching places to try surfing and I was not disappointed!! I was travelling with my mom, who did not want to surf, and Pedro organized a day that was excellent for both of us! I was able to spend the entire day at the beach learning to surf (while my mom relaxed and enjoyed a day at a beautiful beach!). The instructors were awesome. They explained the basics of surfing very well, and were quick to get us in the water to try. They were extremely encouraging and helpful and made sure that everyone had as much practice as possible. I had never tried surfing before, and they made it so much fun. I felt safe the entire time, and really enjoyed the day. They made sure that I got as much opportunity as possible to try. It was such a great day. Pedro and the instructors really went above and beyond my expectations. On the way to and from the beach, Pedro made sure to point out the highlights of the area and was very knowledgeable about the area. He ensured that we were able to return to our hotel with no problems when the day was finished too. However, not only did they provide an exceptional day of surfing, but made recommendations for the remainder of my trip. Pedro even provided me with instructions with the Must see places in Lisbon, and how best to see them all. A great experience and a great company. I really wish I had more days to enjoy surfing during my trip and would definitely go back!!
