a great day out in County Clare - What a great day! First the wild Cliffs of Mohar (we didn't get blown off but it felt like we might) then into the Burren where we saw prehistoric burial sites. and amazing nature.
Our driver / guide, Tony, was knowledgeable and fun.
Definitely a good days adventure.

Worth a visit - Amazing views, we rented a cottage at the end of the mountain near the beach and we could walk the mountain without going into the visitors centre

Fantastic Trip with Knowledgeable Tour Guide - Tour guide Tony was superb and he went through history beginning with Ennis, from the minute we started. The Burren and the Cliffs were the highlights, but we also stopped in some off the beaten path locations that you can not access by tour bus. Highly recommend!

A+ tour of The Cliffs of Moher and the Burren - We went on June 19th from Limerick via Paddywagon Tours to see the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren with a quick stop at Bunratty Castle on the way back.
We had Brian as our tour guide who had a lot of information to share with us. It felt like we were walking into a history lesson as a bonus while going to see these naturally spectacular sights.
I just wish we had spent some time in Bunratty castle which would have been the icing on the cake but alas, it was just a pit stop.
This was a well planned tour with a stop for a hot lunch/sandwich/salad plus bathroom breaks.
We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting the beautiful west coast of Ireland.

Love, Tragedy and Spirituality play a part in this beautiful Abbey - We visited Kylemore abbey and were blown away by its beautifully restored period rooms. Talking tableaus educated us about the abbey’s history, it builder (a well-to-do gentleman who erected it for his wife), the tragedy of her death soon after its completion, and its use today as a convent and spirituality center. The Victorian walled garden with its beautiful English style formal plantings of flowers, vegetables and herbs, the delightfully restored garden buildings, and the wooded acres with nature walks and rock gardens will surprise you around every turn.
This 1,000-acre estate also contains a beautiful neo-Gothic church and mausoleum where Mitchell and Margaret Henry are buried. We fed the pigs at lunch and petted the beautiful Connemara ponies. Instead of driving, we took a tour coach right from our hotel. The views of the Burren with its greenery that stretches for miles made the trip so much more enjoyable.

Wonderfully Entertaining with Beautiful Sights - What a day! We were picked up directly from our hotel in Ennis and off we went. Throughout it all, we had insightful, interesting and knowledgeable information from our guide David. He shared numerous personal stories, was super informative and made everything we saw relatable. Frankly, I don’t think I’d book another tour unless he was our guide. Fantastic driver too, which is important on the all too narrow Irish roads. He took time to show us areas that were less touristy which I appreciated so much, because after the cliffs it was lovely to go to a less crowded area. You could feel the pride he had for his country. We had a wonderful day seeing the Cliffs of Moher, Ailwee Caves, Dunguiare Castle and most impressively, the Burren. We even stopped additionally at the coast to walk on these amazing rocks - great value for money. This was a well-organized trip. We had a great time on this tour. Well done David, and well done Atlantic Way Touring!

We got COVID! - The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable, but he was coughing the entire seven hours and gave us COVID. He did not have water bottles as advertised and I bought him a water bottle so he might stop coughing, but he wouldn’t drink it.
