Brill place to visit for a wet days hols in Dungarvan - Holidaying in Dungarvan with teens and 1 child and ventured to Lismore. View of the Castle is impressive on entering the town.
Escape rooms was great fun for the kids aged 11-16. Clues were tricky but they got out with seconds to spare. They did the VR which was interesting and a hoot when characters just appeared and after the kids had great fun with the historical dress up. We stopped for lunch in Barrons bakery in Cappoquin for great toasties and then a visit to Mount Melleray Monastery where they met a monk and saw some fabulous stained glass windows. All in all I would highly recommend the Heritage Center as a place to visit for a wet day. Ring and book though.
