• Lismore Heritage Centre - This wonderful heritage centre has something for everyone of all ages. Explore the beautiful Lismore Castle in a Virtual Reality Experience, try on some medieval clothing or even Escape one of the challenge rooms with friends at Robert Boyle Escape Rooms (prebooking the Escape Room recommended). The Virtual Reality Experience costs €10 per adult. The Heritage Centre is open all year. It closes on weekends and Bank Holidays from November through to March
• Ardmore - Ardmore is a hidden gem of a town popular with some Irish visitors. Set on the coastline overlooking a wonderful beach, why not enjoy a nice lunch at the Cliff House Hotel before taking a short stroll along the Cliffs overlooking the Celtic Sea/Atlantic. Before leaving Ardmore, visit the monastic site of St Declans Church as we continue our journey towards youghal.
• Youghal - No Visit to west Waterford, east Cork is complete without stopping at the medieval town of Youghal on the banks of the River Blackwater. Youghal played a role in defending the River from invasion and has some of the best examples of town walls in Ireland.

Take a stroll along the medieval walls overlooking the town before soaking up some of the atmosphere along the main street with the Gate tower and Heritage Centre nearby.
