A must if visiting Lismore - Excellent family outing. We visited in a rainy morning and the staff were so helpful and enthusiastic that we easily decided to do the VR experience. We were taken into the entrance hall and given a very informative talk before the VR experience which was excellent. The scenery and interior of the cattle rooms along with the history that accompanies the castle was told in a way that engaged all of us. We came away from the experience with new facts! After the VR experience we had the opportunity to dress up in costumes and take photos at our leisure. I would definitely recommend this if you are visiting Lismore

Fantastic escape room and VR experience - Had a fantastic day at the Lismore heritage centre today with our 8 year old son. We did the escape room and VR experience well worth the visit while staying in Dungarvan. Definitely recommend to all families and really friendly and helpful staff made the visit even better.

A great day in Lismore - The Lismore Visitor Centre staff were fantastic with their advice and you would be stretched to find friendlier people. The VR experience was great. We were a little disappointed that there is no visitor access to Lismore Castle, but the VR experience was a great overview of the Castle, its history and the past and current inhabitants. Our visit to the Castle Gardens topped off a wonderful day for us.

Surprisingly good - Went in skeptical but I was shocked how good and immersive it was. I speak as a theology-history Ph.D. student. Very educational. Far less effort than walking around a whole castle

A great way to see inside the castle - I have never experienced anything in VR before and it was a really amazing way to experience Lismore Castle. Once you put on the headset it really feels like you are in the Castle. The presentation and the stories are a great way to learn about the history of Lismore and the castle and the celebrities who have played a part in its history. If visiting Lismore, this is definitely the best way to experience its best landmark.

Delightful Experience - This was an amazing experience. I felt as if I was standing in the rooms. The commentary was interesting and the whole thing was very well presented. The staff were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A delightful experience.

Terrific Experience - This was a terrific experience. It gave us a great feel for the Castle. We visited as a family (8 adults and 5 children). Everybody enjoyed it. The guide (Gearoid) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We decided to visit the Castle Gardens but when we discovered the charge of €9.00 we changed our minds. The Government should try to get the property back into Irish hands. This is not the responsibility of the Heritage Centre but the Local Council should do something about the public toilets - they are a disgrace.

Delightful - I’d like to thank the staff for the amazing experience. I really liked it and I recommend it to all the people around Lismore. It’s worth it.
