A great way to learn about Lititz History! - Our guide was wonderful! Even though it was only 45 mins, it was not rushed and covered quite a bit of history!!!. The house was in impeccable condition and staged appropriately for that time it was built.

My tour of the Johannes Mueller House - I really enjoyed the guided tour of the Johannes Mueller House. The tour guide, Cheryl, provided a very interesting and enthusiastic tour of the house. She also provided a lot of interesting information about the history of the Moravians and the origins of Lititz, PA. The house has many artifacts on display including artifacts of the flax (linen) production that occurred at the house.

Awesome Tour, highly recommend it! - Our tour guide was very informative and the actual furnishings were awesome. The children's rooms and how the house was used in so many different ways was very interesting. I was so very surprised how small some of the chairs were back then. Most interesting!

Great, great tour! Excellent and highly skilled guide: Sheryl! - Sheryl was a wonderful tour guide -- knowledgeable and energetic, especially on a somewhat muggy and warm day. We loved the tour (my mom and I) and I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about the town and culture of Lititz in the 18th century and forward. I was astounded to realize how much work and effort was required for just plain living and it was so interesting to learn about the features and history of the Joannes Mueller house in particular.

Fantastic tour - We have our own private tour of the 1792 Johannes Mueller House by default. If you have AAA membership, the price is $10 per person. Inside of the visitor center on E. Main St. is a free museum to walk around and look at the local artifacts and learn about the town of Lititz. There is also a gift shop in the visitor center and outside there is a free garden that people can visit which was very well kept. Our tour guide of the house was Cheryl. She told us she wasn’t actor and history buff. She was dressed in. Clothing and took us on a private tour through the house which is a limestone house from the 1700 to the first floor and the upstairs. The tour was supposed to be 45 minutes, but it went well over an hour and a half, which was well worth it. Cheryl was great. She was very animated and told a lot of stories about the Moravians that moved to the area and about the Mueller family and also what the culture and the way of life was back in the 1700s. She was a delight. And the house itself was, decked out in. Decor and furniture. There were two original pieces in the house which was a baby basket, which was upstairs and a China cupboard that was in the dining room. Enjoyed our tour and would visit again when we were in the area. Cheryl also gave us ideas for lunch and other shops and things to see in the downtown area.

The Mueller House Tour is a Must - I took the tour with my daughter and granddaughter. From the start, the docent gave a very detailed description of how the Moravian church was started and how they became established in Lititz. The tour moved to a description of the Moravian Church in Lititz and what each building was used for. The docent also described the structure of the congregation and how they became trained tradesmen in the Moravian community. The tour of the Johannes Mueller House was so interesting because it detailed how each room was used. Again, the docent (Frank, I believe was his name) introduced us to the working, daily life of this Moravian family. It was well worth taking this tour.

We happened to go to Nino’s NY restaurant not know that it was once where the Muellers were. The tour guide was wealth of info.

Extremely detailed and interesting tour of a Moravian Home and Workshop - Ed is extremely knowledgable and friendly. He explained the details of each room in the Mueller house and workshop, Moravian history and culture, including how fabric was made and dyed from flax (Mueller’s profession). Absolutely worth doing if you are ever near Lancaster.
