Prionia - Spilios Agapitos - The day begins in Litochoro, where the group gathers and travels together to Prionia, the starting point. Prionia is the highest location accessible by car.
Prionia is situated at an altitude of 1,100m and features a parking area. The trail is approximately 6km long, taking around 4-5 hours with breaks, and is the most popular hiking path on Mount Olympus. Most of the hike traverses dense forests of pine, beech, and fir trees, and the trail is well-maintained.
The first day’s endpoint is the Spilios Agapitos Refuge, where participants can spend the night either inside the refuge or outside in tents. The refuge is fully equipped with bathrooms, a kitchen, and a power supply. From this location, one can enjoy views of the Aegean Sea and the stunning colors of the sunset.

Spilios Agapitos Refuge - Olympus Mountain Peaks
Mount Olympus - The day starts early with the sunrise, followed by breakfast before beginning the hike to the peaks of Skala at an altitude of 2,885m and Skolio at 2,905m. If weather conditions permit, there is an opportunity to summit Mytikas peak at 2,918m, the highest point in Greece. From these peaks, the view of Mytikas and the Aegean Sea is breathtaking. This hiking distance is about 3-4 km.
After reaching the peaks and taking in the views, the group returns to Spilios Agapitos Refuge to rest, eat, and drink before heading back to the starting point at Prionia. The total distance covered on the second day is about 13km, requiring excellent physical condition.
