Had a wonderful time. Highly recommend! - This isn't the type of thing we normally do but we're glad we did. Because of the time of year, Sea Screamer was only about a third full which was nice for us and the weather was great. The captain and mate were very engaging and shared all sorts of interesting info with us. It was an easy-going and fun trip. The captain took time, about 5 minutes, to allow us to see a fisherman bring in a shark, and once out of the inlet we came upon a shrimp boat - perhaps by chance or planned, but either way it provided SO MANY dolphins to watch. :) One thing to consider - before boarding they say they must take your group's picture mentioning something about Coast Guard regulations. They also tell you the picture will be available for purchase upon return. They're pretty good and nicely mounted. There was, however, NO pressure to buy. We didn't push the issue about having our picture taken but if you don't like strangers taking your picture you should know about this. (With today's computer/phone/camera technology we could be having our pictures taken all the time and don't even know.) We thought the excursion price was reasonable, too. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did! We went on Sea Screamer not Sea Thunder but Sea Screamer wasn't an option when writing this review. Speaking with the captain/owner, they own both boats.

Great Time had by our family! - All of the staff contributed to a fantastic experience! Check in was quick and easy. The boat captains were fun and knowledgeable. We saw a bald eagle, of course dolphins, and they brought a couple of jelly fish on board for close examination, then released them back to the water. Highly recommend. Happy Travels Mike & Ann

An Experience You Will Not Regret! - A fun time with friends- I tour with Sea Thunder every year and never regret it! The captain is full of energy and makes the trip more exciting! And they fulfill the promise that if you don't see a dolphin, your next ride is free (and it was a full year later that they fulfilled this promise). This is an adventure you don't want to miss! See y'all next year!

Great day on the sea - It was a fun experience. The captain was informative and funny and played good music throughout the cruise. Being on the water on such a great day, 80 degrees and sunny, was so nice. The sea was pretty smooth, and while there was a little spray, no one got soaked. We missed the osprey family but did see their nest. We passed an eagle sitting on top of a tree. We followed some dolphins and stopped for a few minutes a couple of times for pictures. Unfortunately, they were much faster than me and my pictures of them weren’t very good. The captain caught a jelly ball in a net, and let people hold or touch it if they wanted to. I was able to take its picture. We had a great time. The boat is nice and clean and the tour ws well done.

Best dolphin watch ever!!🐬 - Best dolphin watch I've ever done! The waters were perfect we saw probably 15 dolphins. All the staff were friendly. I was very sad that my phone died shortly before the boat left so I didn't get any pictures.

Probably the single best and most affordable thing to do while in Myrtle. - My wife and I went while on our anniversary. The boat captains and staff were beyond great. It was cold and windy out, but they drove the boat easy as to not get everyone wet. We had a solid hour of viewing loads of dolphins behind a shrimp fishing boat. Was definitely the highlight of our trip!

Dolphin tour - We originally purchased tickets 10 years ago and we did not see any dolphins so they gave us free tickets for future use. I was shocked that they still honored them. We did not see any dolphins this time either thanks to a story few days before, but the cruise was still a lot of fun and highly recommended.
