Sanjiang county: Nestled at the junction of Guangxi’s northern border with Hunan and Guizhou, Sanjiang Dong Minority Autonomous County is a two-hour drive northwest of Guilin. This autonomous area is predominantly inhabited by the Dong Ethnic Tribe, who make up more than half of the county’s population of 300,000.
