DAY 1:

07h30 Welcome and safety talk

08h30 Breakfast at a restaurant in Limón. (Limón Indanza is a canton belonging to the province of Morona Santiago, in Ecuador)

09h30 Land Transfer from Limón to the small river port of Yukiantza.

11:30 Canoeing from Yukiantza to La Puntilla

(Mouth of the Kuankus River in the Santiago River) *

12h00 Walk from La Puntilla to the Shuar community of Kuankus.

13h00 Arrival at the Community of Kuankus and lunch in the community.

14:00 Walk from the Kuankus community to the Coangos river (old suspension bridge)

14h40 Cross the Kuankus River by raft (One tourist will pass at a time in a small raft) **

16h00 Walk from the Kuankus River to the community farm. (Entrance to the Cave).

18:00 pm Arrival at the estate of Mr. Bosco Pitiur.

20h00 Dinner and share with a Shuar family.

21h00 Siesta in Shuar cabin

DAY 2:

06h00 Breakfast prepared by the Shuar family.

06h40 Hike to the entrance of the cave “Chimenea”

07h30 Descent of the tourists by a rappel of 65 meters at the entrance of the cave.

10h00 Walk inside the cave to the place of the camp “The Cathedral”

10h30 Installation of the camp in La Catedral (only insulation and sleeping will be accommodated) Carp is not necessary because of the transport weight.

12h00 Lunch prepared by the guides.

13h00 Exploration inside the cave by the most important cavities like: The Altar, The hall of the stalagmites, The Cascade, The Amphitheater.

19h30 Snack prepared by guides.

20h00 Share your experiences and anecdotes with the Shuar guides.

21:00 Rest inside the Cave.

DAY 3:

05h30 Get up and disarm the camp, collect equipment and prepare backpacks.

06h00 Light breakfast inside the Cave.

07h00 Ascent by rope to exit the cave (55 meters)

12h00 Lunch prepared by the Shuar family, outside the Cave.

12:30 Walk from the entrance of the cave to the Kuankus River.

13h30 Cross the river Kuankus on a raft

14:30 pm Walk from the Kuankus River to La Puntilla

16:30 pm Canoe boarding from La Puntilla to Yukiantza

17h30 Return from Yukiantza port to Limón

20h00 Arrival in Limón and return of equipment and End of Services.
