Excellent museum for a Beatles fan - We chose this museum over The Beatles Story because the reviews said there were more actual items which were from The Beatles rather than recreations. It's owned by the family of Pete Best so a lot of the items belonged to Pete. Saying that, it wasn't all Pete, all the time. 3 floors of memorabilia. Loads of photos. Lots of weird items. My biggest complaint would be that some of the descriptions of items were positioned too low to the ground. Lots of stairs to climb so beware if you have problems with stairs.

The place to go for Beatles history - Even if your not necessarily a beatles fan or music buff, this museum is still very interesting. You cant imagine how many articifacts/memoriabilia they have on display to tell the story of the band. The audio guide is very useful. My one criticism is that the museum is pretty cramped and, outside of dividing 3 eras by 3 floors, can be difficult to follow chronologically.

It is what it is - I don't know what I was expecting but it was pretty boring, lots of stuff to read and displays behind glass, but in the end just felt like a collection of merchandise
