Lots of fun - Lots of fun. Interactive items, audio tour options and a "performance" every 30mins ( holographic or just cinematic video). Also you can play guitars and drums

Great fun for all ages - The dance school section was a personal highlight, and had plenty of fun in there. The mini ‘concerts’ that were on every 30 minutes in the centre were really fun. Great little trip out and a good hour can be spent in here easy.

Paul is the best - We visited for my birthday and was greeted by a man on reception called Paul. Paul welcomed us and made us feel very hospitable. he led us to the doors and pointed us in the direction of all the different eras and genres and told us the timings for the shows. I thought there was a particular jacket i wanted to see housed inside and he said it wasn’t there a pointed me in the direction of the next museum where it was housed. inside there was so much to see from so many different eras. When we left the exhibition, Paul asked us if we enjoyed it and we explained it was even better than we expected! A great visit for any music lover!

Great for music lovers - A great music museum with lots to see and do You can get a feel for being in a studio and have a go playing instruments with headphoned sound tracks to get the pop star experience Lots and lots of memorabilia to see and it covers all the big names a great way to pass a few hours and remember great music Maybe if your not into music this isn't the place for you as its layout doesn't let you get away from the experience

Love this place - What a fantastic experience. From the moment we entered the building the staff were helpful and welcoming. We took 2 children 11 and 12 and they loved it. There’s so much to see and they enjoyed playing the instruments too.

Well presented memorabilia - I enjoyed my visit. The exhibits are well presented with info posted around and a range of music playing. The middle area had a brief show every half hour and I enjoyed the Boy George performance- it was well done. I think the ticket price is set a bit high but then this is becoming the norm. Staff were friendly.

A good walk through British music. - The time line walk through is very good and lots of information. As a music fan , I did find some bands are not as recognised artistically as others but all genres covered. The 2000 are a bit less covered. Still fun and the central stage is fun to watch. There is a chance to play keyboard and guitars and electronic drums as well. Some not working fully and as a leftie not catered for but still had food fun.

Good in parts but let down by attention to detail - I am a 65 year old music fan and my daughter, bless her, paid for me and her family to go see this exhibition. Being pretty knowledgeable already, I can't say I really learned very much. It was good to see some of the exhibits, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, I was disappointed by the fact that there were many many photos of bands and artistes that were not labelled - so how are the non-experts supposed to know what they are looking at? This should be a simple fix. There is a section where you can try out instruments. But, while there were several electric guitars, none of them were working. One of the two drum kits (electronic) worked OK, but the other one only half worked. The headphones were tatty and there was no provision for sanitising them between users. Come on guys, you can do better than this.

Interesting, but too expensive for a 1h30 visit. - Interesting but quite expensive. Being French, we translated the information with our phone (fortunately) because everything is in English, the interactive activities are not very practical to use, lots of costumes, interesting archives, but in 1h30 we had covered the whole thing.
