Great tour! - Such a great and immersive experience with an audio guide with multiple language options to guide you. Tour takes about an hour and a half to two hours to complete thoroughly (listening to most if not all audios). Gift shop snd cafe available. We also purchased the classic afternoon tea and lunch to have after our tour. The sliders were definitely interesting but why not try? It came with a variety of desserts, 2 of 3 different sliders, and two biscuits with spread and jam. Most options were delicious but we couldn’t finish- would definitely be a lot of food for just two people and it’s recommended maybe to enjoy this with 3-4. Overall, such a pleasant experience!

A MUST IF YOUR A BEATLES FAN - We wanted to see this the last time we went to Liverpool but ran out of time so it was the first thing we did on our visit this time. You have the option of a headphone set so you can hear the story as you progress though the tour it’s from when they was discovered to how they became such a huge household name.

Yellow Submarines all over the place - This tour was absolutely fantastic. The amount of information about the Beatles was amazing. We really enjoyed our tour. If you are a beatles fan this is the tour for you. I really enjoyed the exhibition about Hamburg and Brian Epstein. My favourite exhibition was the Yellow Submarine 💛

So much to look at. - Very enjoyable experience. As I am a super Beatles fan it was exciting. Only one drawback, the audio system was slightly confusing as you don’t know what speed to move ahead. Couldn’t correlate the audio to the areas and because of this I think I missed out on quite a lot of dialogue which was disappointing. Other by members of our group said the same. Otherwise I really enjoyed immersing myself in my teenage era experience.

Buy a morning ticket - The museum is amazing I mean... photos, a lot of details, information, carefully decorated spaces... you walk into a unique atmosphere. The problem for us was that we bought the 16pm tickets and they don't tell you that you'll only have 1 hour to see everything (the museum closes at 17pm). So... If you're a beatles fan and you want to take your time listening and reading everything... buy a morning ticket. Also as the closing time were approaching the staff wen less friendly (I can understand they're tired but it's not my fault). We were a bit disappointed because we were looking forward to visit it and spend the afternoon browsing the spaces (the ticket is not cheap). Were the Sgt.Pepper's suits authentic? We'll never know...

Family visit - Visited with our boys ages 8 and 11, who are Beatles crazy (especially our eldest) After showing our tickets and collecting the Lennon glasses, we were asked if we wanted a green screen picture, which we didn’t as my youngest was desperate for the toilet. We found the toilet and the discovery zone (which we could t do half of as there was no staff about to let us do the record players) but then wondered where everything else was? We had to go back out and ask where to go. We were handed audio guides which the boys weren’t interested in listening to, so we ended up carrying them round and just looking around. Place smelt like toilets and it seemed a bit shabby and overall like it hadn’t been touched in ages. Just felt a bit let down really. I appreciate that if we had listened to the audio guide we would have got more out of the museum but at the same time there could have been a lot more interaction that would have bought it to life!
