Great experience, great guide - Clive was a fantastic guide, very friendly and knowledgeable! Please be aware that although this and similar tours are titled “walking safari” the only time you are allowed out of the vehicle is to walk to the area where the rhinos are. The duration of the tour is spent in a vehicle looking for other animals (elephants, zebras, giraffes, water buffalo). Despite this not being exactly what I expected it was a 10/10 experience and I cannot recommend Clive enough!

Nice trip - Clive was great! A little confusion about picking us up in Zimbabwe, but he arranged it and we crossed the border to and from with no problems. Really enjoyed seeing the rhinos and getting educated about them.

Rhino ‘short’ walk and safari - We were expecting to be walking in the hot sun for 2 hours to see the rhinos, but we were pleasantly surprised that we taken in an air conditioned van. You get out and walk about 200m to see the rhinos. There are armed park rangers to protect you and the animals. You will also see other amazing animals in the park. We saw elephants, zebras, a giraffe, hippos, monkeys, and baboons. Our guide was Clive. He was excellent! He went out of his way to help us see the animals we were hoping to see. He also helped us get back across the border and meet our driver. He highly recommend Clive!

Mini safari - I thought we would be walking for awhile, but you drive around the park and then walk for a few minutes to see the rhinos. The re protected by park rangers so they help keep you and the animals safe. We also saw elephants, zebras, a giraffe, and monkeys. Our guide, Clive, was excellent. He made sure we were taken care of until our next transport came to get us. Highly recommend.

Zambia Safari and Rhino Walk - Fantastic Safari and Rhino walk Zambia Our guide Bright, from DewClaw Safaris, met us at the Zambia border and took us to Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park for a Safari followed by the rhino walk. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and alert to the multiple animals we were able to see in the park. After the Safari we met up with two park rangers who walked with us to where three rhinos were grazing. We were close enough to appreciate the magnitude of these incredible animals but we were also safe. We planned on going through Vic Falls Zambia side after the rhino walk so Bright made sure we knew where to go and even dropped us off at the entrance. It was a great safari/rhino walk! Kudos to Bright, a wonderful guide.

This was a stretch to say walking with Rhino and Poor Communication - 1. Vendor never responded to any messages (2) I sent through viator 2. Had to request information/clarification several times for pickup location and time through hotel and viator, and time of pickup was still wrong 3. Vender has transfer driver asking for additional $20 for bridge tax, yet nothing mentioned in viator documents and tickets. Vendor called several times during activity to ask for bridge tax 4. The description of this activity while maybe not technically wrong, was misleading. Its 5 minutes in a field with 1 Rhino sleeping and about 20 other people. It was fun, but not $200 worth of fun for 2 people. 5. The Drivers were very nice and friendly. would give them high marks If you decided to do this, set your expectations appropriately. 6. we were on the Zimbabwe side and had to cross both border immigration. Not a big deal and we had Kaza Visas. If this caused issue or more challenges for vendor, they should have communicated with us and managed our expectations.
