River Runner Adventures is Zambian owned and operated. Our rafting trips run the Zambezi rapids just below Victoria Falls. Our team provides a river trip with local knowledge and history of the Zambezi. There are cultural encounters included as we pass through local villages to access the river. We like to provide the best experience on the river and will customize the trip to the traveller’s wishes as best we can. This may include (as the season permits), adding fishing, viewing the Falls from below, photography opportunities, etc.
- We can accommodate dietary restrictions such as food allergies, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.
- Important Note: We only serve alcoholic beverages for travelers 21 years old and above. Minor travellers under 21 years old will be served non-alcoholic beverages.

Best Zambezi company - Jonathon runs a great company. I came to Livingstone solo and was looking to go kayaking. I spent 10 days with the crew paddling everything from #1 down, it was an amazing experience! Very well run, fun guides made running the river easy. Best whitewater company on the Zambezi hands down.

Zambezi river canoeing - Great views of the Zambezi river. Fantastic guide (Domenic) helped us to identify various bird and wild animal varieties. His guidance throughout the day was invaluable, steering us clear of any animal and river hazards along the way. Johnathan (business owner), Domenic and the rest of the team involved were extremely welcoming and fun to be with. Do not miss the opportunity to see this very special part of Africa from a very unique perspective. I would highly recommend getting in contact with these guys and booking your very own front seat view of a very special part of the world.

Half Day Rafting Trip - My friends and I did a half day rafting trip with River Runner Adventures and we had the best time! Our guide was helpful and made sure that we all were safe, but also had a fun time. Would highly recommend a rafting trip with them if you are able!

Amazing rafting experience on the Zambezi! - This was an amazing rafting trip down the Zambezi! Our guides were experienced and friendly, kept everyone's safety and enjoyment in mind. We had opportunity to swim some of the rapids and the lunch provided was fresh and delicious. 10/10 recommend!

Awesome overnight adventure - We had a fantastic time on our rafting adventure. Johnathan was super accommodating for our needs and created a special rafting trip just for us. The food was amazing. Especially the carrot muffins! Our guide James was great fun and marvelous at his job. Kenny did an amazing job at kayaking and making sure we were safe. We would have loved to do more but the river levels didn't allow. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an adventure!

Excitement, scenery and good food - My family and I had a fantastic day on the Zambezi with River Runner Adventures. The staff were amazing, from the driver to the lead guide. Beautiful scenery, exciting rapids and delicious lunch. It was a highlight of our trip.

Brilliant for first time rafters - This was a fantastic experience. It was my first time whitewater rafting and it didn’t disappoint. I particularly enjoyed being able to go down some of the rapids outside of the boat, felt safe at all times

I had an amazing experience rafting on the Zambezi river with River Runner Adventures.
The guides really took care of me. I felt extremely safe the whole time.
The guild told us all about each rapid as we were coming up to it, and how we needed to attack it. Encouraging us to jump in and swim in the river to enjoy the full experience.
They were on time for pick up and drop off. To and from my accommodation.
The lunch we had after the trip was delicious.
This day will be a great memory to have!

Fantastic from start to finish - Fantastic experience from start to finish! Get picked up at the hotel and driven to the river!
Good security demo, gentle and friendly people and proper equipment!
Amazing fun rafting experience!
Experienced guides.
Fantastic lunch after the rafting.
Will eventually be driven back to the hotel.
All in all a 10/10 day.
Can highly recommend River Runner Adventure!!

A day I will never forget - Incredibly good experience, with great instructors and staff. A day I'll never forget. Get picked up where we're driving to where we're going. And drove home again. We brought the Sunset Cruise package. Something to recommend.
