- Livingstone - Clients will be picked from their lodging place in the morning and driven to the check in point at the top of the gorge where the safety briefing will be done. - Livingstone - Clients will be picked from their lodging place in the morning and driven to the check in point at the top of the gorge where the safety briefing will be done. After the safety briefing , clients will be required to complete the indemnity forms and hand over all their valuables for safe keeping. Clients will be helped to wear their rafting gear. Clients will then walk down the gorge to the starting point of the rafting trip. Clients will raft from rapid 1-21 which is from the boiling point to rapid 21. While rafting clients will asked to paddle through class III - V rapids. At rapid 21, clients will be requested to disembark from the rafts and hike-up the gorge, which is about 750ft while carrying their rafting gear. Water will be provided during the hike.
When the clients get at the top of the gorge , they will be served with lunch and soft refreshing beverages. After lunch , clients will be requested to get their valuables and board the vehicle back to their lodging place. This is a 45 minutes drive back to Livingstone Town.

Awesome rafting on the Zambezi - We all LOVED the ride. The rafting was wild and exciting with the best captains and safety kayaks all around us. There will be a next time!!!

The best white water rafting with amazing guides!!! - I went on the white water rafting tour with four of my friends and what a day we had. It was an amazing tour with the most beautiful views of the lake and the mountains on both the Zambian and Zimbabwe side. The water rafting tour was so nice - very funny and exiting.
The guides were amazing. They were both professional, sweet and good at making you feel safe.
I can for sure recommend this tour and this company!! Thank you to the fantastic guides for the wonderful tour. 🙌🏼

The BEST experience EVER!!! - Absolutely the BEST experience ever! We were a school that has socially challenged students, and the guides were so patient, understanding and super funny. They are professional and one really feels sage with them, it is visible they know what they're doing, and they take safety very seriously. They are good at keeping the mood up, and they also took care of all the good and drinks. I would do it again and again with them, totally recommend!

Ayoba river God!! Days like this is what we live for!!!🤙🤙🤙😜👌 - Ayoba from Mavumina safaris was a fantastic raft guide, and trip leader! He made us feel super safe the whole time, and we also had many laughs with the crew, which were also all great people!
Ayoba told us all about each rapid as we were coming up to it, and how we needed to attack it.
They were on time to pick us up and drop us off to and from our accomodation, and nothing was too hard for them!
The lunch we had after the trip was fantastic.
We also did the Lion King river cruise organized through Mavumina, which was also outstanding!
This day will be remembered for a long time.
Many thanks to all involved, I would 100% recommend Mavumina for your Zambezi rafting experience!

Whitewater Rafting on the Zambezi - We did white water rafting on the Zambezi River on September 2.
Was a very cool experience with a lot of fun and adrenaline. The captain Ayoba with his crew Clement, Stick, Friday and Cholwe were very competent, very familiar with the river and its whims. I felt safe in the boat with this crew.

Advanturous rafting experience - It was an amazing experience with the team of Mavumina and his guys Ayoba, Clement, Cholwe, Friday and stick. At first we walked to the boiling point for a swim under the falls really special. Then the real adventure started. We all got detailed explanation about the river and its rapids and the most beautiful nature surrounding us. We took 14 rapids from class 3 till 5 well instructed by the professional crew, also chances to swim, and it was one of the most beautiful and adventurous experiences in my life so far. We also had lots of laughter together, love the Zambian humor. We closed with a very nice lunch before going back to the hotel. I recommend everybody this great adventure trip on the Zambezi river with this highly qualified crew! They took real good care of us passengers and understand their jobs, thanks boys keep on doing the good things in life.

Rafting - It was super great, swimming in the boiling pot under the fall.
Rafting was very nice, also guy’s from mavunina Ayoba, Clement, Cholwe, Friday.
Only the climbing was hevy, but the boy’s helpt us so much. At the end was a good mail with nice company.

Amazing day on the Zambezi river - We had an amazing day om the Zambezi river with Ayoba, Clement, Cholwe ,Friday and Stick. The guys too such good care of us. First we went to swim under the Vic Falls, this was an amazing experience. After the swimming we went rafting on 13 different rapids. The captain explained a lot about the rapids and the surroundings. Everybody who joined us was very qualified in what they are doing and gave us a very safe feeling, which made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend of choosing the photo and video package. We are never forgetting this trip and the aftermovie and photos will help with that, and of course we have something nice to show our friend and family back home. Thanks again guys! Keep up the good work, good one!!

THIS IS THEEEE CREW for YOUR RAFTING ADVENTURE 🌊 - MUST GO WITH THEEEESE GUYS!!!
I took my clients (women between 46 and 56 y/o) on their first rafting experience ever. Our Captain, Ayoba, was incredibly thoughtful, patient, focused, knowledgeable and approachable with all questions, fears and concerns and managed every person absolutely professionally, yet funny and lighthearted. A true leader! His crew, the two safety kayaks with Clement and Friday, and Cholwe and Malo (aka Stick) helped us paddling through all 25 rapids. It was an absolute wild ride and all of them made us feel safe, helped pushing our boundaries (they even encouraged us to jump into the water between rapids - sooo much fun!) and always put our needs and interests first. I can’t wait for the amazing video and photo material they gonna send (aka for Clement to take your shots!). I’m 100% sure: THIS is my crew for all future Miss Guided Safaris rafting trips!
Oh yeah, and after we made it out of the gorge, a nice lunch awaited us. Much needed and really yummy. The fun ride back to town with all these memories and singing to Captain Ayobas hymn was the cherry on the cake.
