Fun + food + stunning views = happy me - I had an amazing time with these guys today! Maano is a Zambian owned company with a great team. Even if it was just for the view, I'd recommend this. Floating through the gorges was simply breathtaking. In addition to that it was so well organized. They made sure everyone was well hydrated, fed and safe! They've got a great hypeman on board too. I was even able to do some rapids swimming. 10/10 recommend!

Good website and secure payment The team For white water rafting, we had a large crew take care of us. We had a great and fun time with the guys looking after us who were up for having a laugh with us - Captain Andrew, Clement, Abraham, T-Boy, America, Amos, Kelvin, Sadius, and a shout-out to Enoch who helped organise many of the activities we did. Would book again in a heartbeat, all the guys were fantastic and very friendly!! The activity It was our first time doing water rafting so I was somewhat scared. Even though I was apprehensive about going in initially, once I was in the river, at no point did I feel unsafe. One of the guys is in a separate kayak near the boat, ready to rescue you if you should fall into the river. The half day starts at rapid 14 and ends on rapid 25. It is exciting and exhilarating, and at some points we were free swimming down the river which felt amazing. Others booking should be aware there is a significant hike up and down the gorge, so be prepared for this. The hardest part of the activity is walking back up after everything, so it can be quite tiring. Despite that, the team brought down water bottles and even helped carry some stuff up for us. Additionally, they deploy a cameraman as part of the crew if you would like to pay for photos and videos. He did an awesome job and we now have great memories to remember the trip by - they did an awesome job editing the video after it was finished. I would totally book to do this again, and highly recommend using Maano Adventures for the other activities they have on offer (we also organized the Mosi-Oa-Tunya Game Drive, Safari Day trip in Chobe, and Sunset River cruise with them - all went super smoothly).

Super trip - We had so much fun on that rafting trip. Manoo adventures organized everything perfectly. The guides were super cool and experienced. I can only recommend this if you want to do rafting in Livingstone

Amazing day on the river - We had an amazing day with this company. They made everything seamless from our hotel pick up to transporting us through the border. We were greeted by James and then Andrew and the rest of the crew. We picked up some locals to help with the rafts so we didn’t have to do any lifting of equipment which was a nice bonus and a good way to support the local village. The raft trip take was by far the most fun we’ve had! The crew made it fun and really made us feel safe and comfortable. This is a great way to experience something a little more adventurous while visiting. Victoria falls. My only comment would be if your not fairly fit the hike in and out of the river was a bit strenuous for me.

Fantastic trip & the guys made it all the better - The guys that work for the company, James, Andrew, Abraham, Clement and all were fantastic from start to finish. Picked us up from Hotel where Jarvis our driver was awesome, drove us to the border and navigated us thru the border to James in Zambia. The only thing I will tell you if you are not fit don't go as the climb out of the river is not for the faint hearted.

Not to be missed experience for those that like some physicality - The rafting experience was fantastic! The captain (James) and his fabulous crew made it a great adrenaline rush while feeling safety was their paramount thought! The only downside was that the tour provider did not communicate enough. Knowing that I had to bring not only my passport but that I could have got a dual entry visa would have saved me a lot of money

This was a high intensity adrenaline activity. - We had very experienced captains who knew when we could jump overboard and swim some rapids. We didn’t flip and only had 1 member fall out. We were safe and in control at all times.

Amazing Zambezi rafting! - Absolutely brilliant. The team (Andrew, T-boy, Clement and crew) looked after our family ensuring an awesome, safe day (three kids aged 11/13/14). Memories for life! The porters are incredible. Take a rash shirt and swimming shorts for girls.

DON’T DO IT IF YOU ARE NOT EXPERIENCED - I want to mention that the crew and the guides were great. Really experienced and helpful and the whole adventure could be a great experience. The thing that they failed to mention us is that you should be experienced in rafting or at least not go when high water. Having said that for us it was the most horrifying experience of our life. We were thrown inside the river, under the boat with the rapid bringing us down. Super unsafe. Some of us got hit some of us drunk so much water that we aborted the rafting and walked back the mountain. I would recommend as a great experience which it will be for people experienced in rafting. Otherwise it becomes dangerous.
