  • Florence - Discover key landmarks in the city center such as Signoria Square, the marble Dome with its bell tower, and the Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge). If your tour includes a walking tour, it will end at the Central Market, where you can sample local dishes and purchase local products.
  • Ponte Vecchio - Stroll across Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge), a medieval stone arch bridge known for its shops.
  • Campanile di Giotto - Marvel at this free-standing bell tower, part of the Florence Cathedral complex. Its unique position, aligned with the facade, highlights its importance and provides a clear view of the apse area for the large dome. Giotto’s original design included a pyramidal cusp, aiming for a total height of approximately 120-125 meters. A drawing in the Museo dell’Opera del Duomo in Siena is believed to be inspired by this design.
  • Piazza della Signoria - Explore this square in front of Palazzo Vecchio, also home to the Loggia della Signoria. It is a central point in the history of the Florentine Republic and a gateway to the Uffizi Gallery.
  • Basilica of Santa Croce - Visit this square to admire the Basilica di Santa Croce, one of the largest Franciscan churches and a significant Gothic structure in Italy. It is an Italian national monument.
  • Galleria Palatina in Palazzo Pitti - Tour the Palatine Gallery, a museum in Palazzo Pitti. Located on the main floor, it spans 28 rooms and showcases the Grand Dukes of Tuscany’s art collection, primarily from the 16th and 17th centuries. The gallery is arranged by decorative criteria rather than period or school, making it a key museum for understanding European art history.
  • Palazzo Pitti - Explore this historic palace, once the main residence of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany’s ruling families and later used by Napoleon. It served as the royal palace of united Italy for a brief period during the Risorgimento.
  • Mercato Centrale - Visit Central Market, a product of the late 19th-century urban renewal. Inside, find essential Tuscan ingredients, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and spices. Outside, discover leather goods.
  • Duomo - Admire Florence Cathedral and its complex, including the Baptistery and Giotto’s Campanile. These buildings are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Pisa - Fall in love with Pisa and the stunning Piazza Dei Miracoli. Enjoy free time to visit the Leaning Tower, the Cathedral, and the Baptistery, or relax on the green meadow. You can also opt for Leaning Tower entrance.
  • Camposanto - View the Monumental Cemetery, where legend says bodies decompose in just 24 hours.
  • Leaning Tower of Pisa - If selected, climb this iconic tower, famous for its nearly four-degree lean due to an unstable foundation.
  • Battistero di San Giovanni - Admire Italy’s largest baptistery, standing 54 meters high with a 34-meter diameter, built between 1152 and 1363.
  • Duomo di Pisa - Enter the oldest structure in the plaza, followed by the Pisa Baptistry and the Leaning Tower.
  • Basilica di San Lorenzo - Walk through the Basilica of San Lorenzo, a major Catholic church in Florence’s historic center. It is one of the city’s oldest churches and holds the status of a minor basilica. The San Lorenzo market is nearby.

Well organized tour - Very well organized tour and the guide was so informative during the tour. It was a very hot day and we loved being back at the coach. The only downside was that we waited more than half an hour for some late comers at the departure from Livorno.

Good but could be better organized. - Boarding of bus was chaotic but our guide was sweet and did a nice job. Our solo Pisa trip was terrible. It was just a bus ride. No instructions or guide.

No air conditioning! - Tour guide was friendly and spoke very good English. Absolutely no air conditioning on the bus the entire day and temps were hovering around 100. The heat and no air flow caused me to be sick. Not a fault of the tour company but you should be aware that there is only one public restroom around Pisa and it was out of service the day we visited.

Take any tour but this one - The tour was very disorganized and tour guide was hard to keep track of… from the beginning we were told to take a shuttle to meet them at 9:15. We were there at 9:15 but they didn’t leave until 10:00. When we arrived at the stop you were expected to pay an extra 5 euros to stay with the guide or make sure you were back at the bus by the meeting time. We waited for 15 mins for late passengers and after enough complaints of waiting in a very warm bus we left late for our tour of Pisa. When we arrived again we were instructed to stay with the tour guide we needed to pay an additional amount and other wise meet at the base of Pisa or the bus. We met at the meeting time at the base of Pisa and could not find her. This forced my 70 year old mom and to nearly run back to the meeting point at the bus…. If you are going to take this tour be prepared to wait beyond what you were prepared for and have a good gps on your phone available.

WOREST EXPERIENCE - The worest trip we have ever had, it was an actual waste of time because of FREDRICO ( KIKO ) the tour guide we had. Coming all along from Canada to Italy to run after a guide who is so uninformative. First, our booking had a tour guide walk booked, he pretended it wasn't and asked for 5 euros per person for the guided walk until we showed him our booking. He didn't have any speakers or headphones so no one was able to hear what he saying with a group of 35 persons while every single guide around us has his group with headphones and explaining to them in the mic the history and places around. When we complained, he said stay closer to me If you want to hear my announcement. How can a group of 35 stay closer to one person. He went so mad at us as we were 5 mins late in the bathroom while he was late at the bus for 20 mins. At the end he dropped us off at Pisa then left the group and disappeared. We didn't see him again since when. Stay away , worest part of our Italy visit was Florence and Pisa with that provider.
