Good value - Well organised and plenty of time to see all attractions at Pisa, comfortable transport and drop off back at cruise terminal an unexpected bonus, would recommend

Good Experience - The meeting place was busy but there were at least 3 teenagers there, easy to find in Green T-shirts. We had ample time to walk to the top of the leaning tower and self tour the adjacent Basilica. Comfortable air conditioned coach bus for transportation. They won't let you walk yourself out of the port from a cruise ship. You must take the provided shuttle coach bus which was a 1/2 lineup to board. The shuttle took us straight to the meeting place for the tower of Pisa excursion.

Book wrong tour but Viator tour guide was awesome to make last minutes arrangement to save my excursion. - I booked the wrong tour. Supposed from Livorno to Pisa but my cruise ship was actually at La Spazia. The tour there found out and was able to transfer me to the tour from Lula Spaxia to Florence and Pisa. Worked out fine. The tour guide Marina, was phenomenal. She took very good care of us, explained the history and features of the locations well. Highly recommend her!!

Pisa family vacation - The service was great. The staff had great communication prior to attending the excursion. They explained exactly what we had to do in order to meet with them. The bus was very clean had Great air conditioning. They also provided Wi-Fi. Once we arrived in Pisa, they left us in a great location to walk and sightsee.

Good, but Crowded bus - The return trip back wasn't so great. We arrived back at the bus with 15 mins before departure and the bus was almost completely full. There were four scattered seats remaining so my family couldn't sit together. The bus was supposed to be reserved for just the people who arrived on it.. That was clearly not the case.

No guide - We were under the impression that there would be some guide narration on our trip to Pisa but nothing was forthcoming.
A passenger had to explain how to invoke the free wifi!
Otherwise very pleasant ride both ways.

Pisa Bus Ride - Pisa, and the tower were great. Definitely go. This company was very hard to find the pick up spot, left 30 minutes late, and then left another 30 minutes later than the "revised" return time. Very nerve wracking for Cruise Ship passengers.

Pick up point mix up - The bus was NOT at the pick up point in Livorno as announced by Viator.
We arrived at the pick up point 15 minutes early. Glad we did. The bus was not there and no bus representative's were there.
After a few minutes we asked in a nearby travel info store. They said because it is Sunday, the bus does not stop at its normal but FIVE blocks away. So at Seven minutes before scheduled departure we needed to almost run to where the travel people said. We barely made the bus and would have really upset if we missed the trip to Pisa.
The bus operator should tell Viator is there is a change so you can inform your customers.
Once in Pisa, the bus stopped outside the city, about a 15 minute walk. The bus company provided no direction to the leaning tower.
We made it back to the bus and the bus driver did not announce we were on the bus back to Livorno. Fortunately we recognized a few fellow passengers who said we were on the correct bus.
The bus and bus ride was okay but we were not happy with the mix up in the pick up point in Livorno
We think Viator can do better and ask for a refund if at least half our fee for the bus ride

Badly organised tour resulting in us paying TWICE to gain access to the inside of the Leaning Tower of Pisa - Badly organised. When I and my wife arrived at the Meeting Point the GREEN T-SHIRT staff issued us a ticket confirming that the trip included Access to the Pisa Leaning Tower, the latter which we have paid for.
On arriving at the Pisa Coach Park the coach lady guide us to the town of Pisa. Here we were supposed to meet an expert escort but he/she was not there. We were left to wander around the town. We wanted to go up the Leaning Tower of Pisa and showed the guard our ticket (see above paragraph), but he said that’s not a ticket and instead directed us to the ticket office.
I showed the paperwork issued by the GREEN T-SHIRT staff which clearly stated that I have paid for Access to the Leaning Tower. The ticket office staff did not accept it, and so we have to buy 2 tickets costing Euro 40. We bought 2 tickets for Euro 40, which we feel should be refunded by Viator. I have both the documents to prove that.
