Wednesday, September 18th tour - My wife and I went to the pickup point at the Ibis Styles Ljubljana Centre hotel, at 11am. There we met up with our fellow travelers, and our guide Emsud. Emsud was more of our driver than a guide. He did a great job as a driver. Lake Bled, and the area, is beautiful. As is Bled castle, and Bled island. We did tour Bled castle. It was interesting, but I wouldn’t visit it again. The boat ride to Bled Island was fun. They pick you up, drop you off on the island, and tell you to be back to that boat in 40 minutes. Then they bring you back, and then you pay for the boat ride in cash. We had some free time after the boat ride, so we took a short walk, then had a bite at the nearby restaurant. You can skip the castle visit, or the boat ride to the island, if you want to just walk around the lake instead. It’s a lovely walk, on a nice walkway. Emsud got us back to our starting point in Ljubljana, and we were on our way. He did do a great job getting us around.

Blissful day on Lake Bled - Emsud our guide was punctual, polite and a good communicator. He drove carefully and explained how the day was going to operate. It was a very easy hassle free way to do everything we wanted to do and see in Lake Bled.

You can choose to add attractions and can only walk and enjoy a heaven view of the lake

Excellent day out, appreciated the flexibility & being able to spend time as we liked - Emsud was an excellent driver, great communication from start to finish.
A very calm & safely driven journey even on one the busiest days of the season when the world & his wife were all travelling to lake Bled.
Emsud was very flexible with the arrangements, making sure that all 8 of us were happy with any changes - it was an extremely hot day so collectively it was agreed to not visit the Bled castle but go to another less spot with great views that was not so open to the sun.
We had a brilliant day with plenty of time for a swim, a rest then a good walk around the lake & some lunch before meeting at the pre-arranged pick up point.
The pick-up time was adjusted to take into account the delay in arriving because of the high volume of traffic so we didn't miss out at all once we had arrived at Lake Bled.

Roundtrip Ljubljana to Lake Bled - The guide was easy to talk to and picked up/dropped off the group on time. Short 50 minute ride in a van to/from Ljubljana.

Great trip when in a hurry - Great way to discover Bled when you don't have much time. Emsud (our driver) was very nice and attentive to our wishes. We spent an appropriate amount of time at the castle and then enough time was left at the lake that i was able to walk around and have a swim.

Enjoyed Lake Blade - Lake Bled had some awesome views from the lake to castle. The boat to the island was a huge plus. The castle was not that great but the location is fabulous.

Amazing views and lovely experience - I loved my experience on the tour to Lake Bled!
We were in a small group (8 pax), and I also think that made the experience more enjoyable.
We travelled in a clean, comfortable air conditioned van, and I can't remember how long it took us to get to Lake Bled, but because I was so comfortable, I wasn't clock watching.
Our tour guide was Emsud, who was so lovely. He was happy to answer the many questions some people had, and he was very knowledgeable.
I would strongly recommend getting a ticket (it is a return ticket) for the Pletna boat to go to the island. There wasn't necessarily anything amazing on the island, but it was nice to do the journey and take some pictures whilst on the boat. The church that is on the island is pretty so you may want to see that.
One of the people on our tour went for a swim when we returned from the island. She seemed to really enjoy it and said the water was very refreshing (the water really is blue and clean).

I would recommend this tour!

A worthwhile excursion from Ljubljana, especially if you're lucky with the weather. - Although we didn't have the best weather for this excursion (cold and grey for much of the time at Bled), we had a good time. We skipped the castle and instead walked around the lake and did the short boat trip to the island. Taking it easy, this filled about 3 hours of the 4 hours that the visit lasted. Emsud, our driver, was very friendly and helpful. The 1 hour minibus ride each end was comfortable and well driven.
