So much diversity! You’ll also get an abc on Slovenian wine. I’ll give you a short intro into food and wine pairing and it’s gong to be great fun!\n\nWe will meet at the Farmers Market, THE place for local produce and specialties! I always say food is the best way to feel a nation’s soul. The diverse and vibrant market tells a story of Slovenian people, culture and traditions and is also very famous for its architecture.\n\nGet ready to try different wine, cheese, delicious locally produced meat, traditional soup, seafood (did you know Slovenia has 45 kilometres of coast!) and among other things some sweets too. You’ll also learn about typical Slovenian dishes with protected geographical status, like a delicious traditional pastry filled with walnuts.\n\nAs I’ll take you around I’ll tell you all about Slovenian cuisine, culture and customs that are very old but still alive today. Be prepared for some good times while learning about the tastes of Slovenia through the eyes of a local food & wine lover and a sommelier.

We’ll explore top gastronomic locations in and around central Ljubljana - sampling local cheese, mouthwatering local meats, seafood, pumpkin seed oil, handmade bread, classic soup, and other incredible traditional Slovenian pastries, among other things. Many of these delicacies will be accompanied by wine. Brace yourself for a culinary plunge into Slovenian tastes!

Once a lifetime tour. - Ana was a great guide that truly has an amazing understanding of all things Slovenian. She made the tour fun and informative. After the tour Ana even sent us a long list of recommendations in Ljubljana. Her tour is an absolute must when touring Slovenia!

Amazing food and wine with a great local host! - We had such a lovely tour with Ana! She was very knowledgeable and personable throughout the tour. It felt like being taken around the city by an old friend. She had a great overview of the area both past and present. The food and wine was delicious and there was plenty to go around! Being in a small group added to the experience as well. I'd highly recommend doing this tour!

A great introduction to Ljubljana and Slovenian wine and cuisine! - A great introduction to Ljubljana and Slovenian wines and cuisine. Ana has a relaxed and friendly manner which is in sync with Ljubljana. Her local knowledge and expertise with wine addd to the experience and her carefully selected eateries are well balanced and authentic experiences. A genuinely enjoyable food and wine tour and a great way to start your visit to Ljubljana. Excellent value for money.

Great food and wine tour! - My wife and I went on a tour with Ana in late March. We enjoyed 6 Slovenian wines and traditional foods. Everything was in and around the farmer's market. Ana's insights on food, culture, and history [and of course the wine!] were the highlight of our trip! Communication in Engish was great - even on the technical details of wines. We highly recommend her tour to all foodies and wine conoisseurs!
