Great day at Lake Bled - I was traveling to Ljubljana for work and it was recommended to check out Lake Bled and it did not disappoint! Rocco was our driver and he was very knowledgeable of the area and had great stories to tell about Slovenia. We got to explore the castle, then had free time to see Lake Bled. You have the option to take a boat over to the island on Lake Bled, I highly recommend this. It is an additional cost (18 euro), because the boats are a family run business, but it is worth it.

Right from a story book - Our visit to Lake Bled and Bled Castle exceeded all expectations. The serene beauty of the lake, with its emerald-green waters and picturesque island, was like stepping into a fairy tale. We enjoyed a peaceful boat ride to Bled Island, where the charming church added a sense of timelessness to the experience. The scenery alone was breathtaking, but the overall organization and ease of the visit made it even more enjoyable. The atmosphere around the lake was calm and relaxing, allowing us to fully appreciate the natural beauty and take in the incredible views.
Bled Castle was equally impressive, perched high above the lake with its stunning panoramic views. The castle’s rich history and well-preserved architecture created an immersive experience, and exploring the grounds was both educational and enjoyable. The interactive exhibits inside the castle offered great insights into the region’s past, making it more than just a visual treat. Our time at Bled Castle was the perfect complement to the peaceful surroundings of Lake Bled, and the entire visit left us with a deep sense of satisfaction.

Great Time - Great tour got to the castle early enough to beat the hoards of bus tours. Boat to island was a must even if just part of a people mover to the island.
Go to island and ring the bell. Take the long walk back to the meeting point and take a dip if you have the time.
They should allow another 1/2 hour after the island trip and this would be perfect. Guide was great.Really a don’t miss.

Uplifting and outstanding! - Tibor was so good! So much information provided and a brilliant sense of humour made for a super tour. Tibor is so proud to be Slovenian and that shows in the presentation he provided. The transport was great, easy pick up. The Lake is astounding as is the castle. There is plenty of time to do everything you want to. The organisation was very good. Would recommend highly.

Relax and wonderful! - Lake Bled was stunning, and the trip fit perfectly into our jam-packed schedule. Our tour guide, young Matt, was incredibly patient. On the way to Lake Bled, he managed to give us the entire history of Slovenia without losing his cool or losing us along the way!

The tour wastes over 90 minutes of your day - We took the combined tour with the caves This is not one tour but a combination of two tours after the caves they return to the city to drop people off and then wait to pick up new people so you wind up eating about 90 minutes of your day I’m sure there are better options out there

Bled Castle was not castle like at all - Waiting 40 minutes to be picked up as they did not seem to know spot we selected and had confirmed on our receipt.

No show with no flexibility - Today was my last day in Ljubljana and the driver had a car accident. I understand these things happened and I ask if they can re-arrange the tour for the afternoon to accommodate as I leave Slovenia tomorrow. Instead, they said it's 100% not possible.
Lake Bled is the highlight of Slovenia. The flexibility of the tour operator "To Do in Slovenia" is absolutely terrible. Based on my personal experience, I would avoid booking this tour and look for the other Lake Bled tours on Viator.
