If you are a total beginner or enthusiast paddler, this relaxing and refreshing tour is meant for you.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- A minimum of 4 people per booking is required

Great Paddle - Paddle boarding in Ljubljana was a great experience. Enjoyed seeing and hearing the history from the river level.

Beautiful hours on the water - Thanks to Matt for this super nice tour! I was traveling alone and that was really no problem at all. Matz involved everyone very nicely, explained a lot and made the tour very entertaining. Mega was fun!

Fun and sporty experience - We booked a tour on a Monday morning at 10. That was just great because it was a very warm day a d the morning was still nice. Wear a hat and sunscreen. And be prepared to fall in the water.
Our guide Matt was very friendly and calm. He explained everything good and we had a very nice first experience. Besides that you get information about Ljubljana while paddling through the city. Matt picked up some plastic trash that we saw in the river. I think this river is the cleanest I saw in a city. And apparently people take good care of it.
We had fun and even did soms SUP yoga. 😀

Fantastic SUP experience in Ljubljana! - My partner and I had phenomenal experience with Bananaway. Our instructor, Matt Švraka, was very helpful in teaching us the basics for 10 mins before we got in the water, and then showed us how to get on / out of the water and how to handle waves from other entities in the water. The water was great and Ljubljana is actually in the process of continuing to clean the river! Matt was a testament to this as he picked out litter (although there was very little) to help do his part. As for the actual tour itself, we started a little bit outside of the old town and then made our way all the way to the central market. Matt eloquently described the historical significance of buildings / bridges / cultural experiences of the city as we passed them. He was also brave enough to take his phone with him and snapped some incredible photos of me and my partner. I would highly recommend this experience to people who want to explore Ljubljana in a more active manner with a local who knows the ins and outs of Slovenia! The equipment was also fantastic, and a great introduction to paddle boarding (my partner and I had never paddle boarded before and it was very quick to get on the water and paddling confidently). The pace of the paddling was very leisurely and not strenuous.

Fun tour and a top guide - What a fun tour with a super friendly guide, Matt. Upon arrival we appeared to be two and we were allowed to choose which way we would go. We chose the nature side, highly recommended. After a short, but good, explanation we went on the water. At first we were a bit shaky because we were total beginners, but quickly things went well. Matt talked about the city and the country during the tour, so we learned fun and new things that you usually don’t hear on a normal tour. In addition, Matt also showed what is possible on a supboard. Afterwards we also got tips to eat out. We had a successful tour and again compliments to Matt!

Our stand up tour with Viktorija was great! - Our stand up paddle tour with Viktoria was an all-round successful experience! Despite the initial rain, Viktoria managed to create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Her friendly nature and good English made the tour particularly enjoyable.
We received tips on stand up paddling and interesting information about the city.
Our 12 year old teenager has her own sub. Which was really no problem and worked out well! They really enjoyed it!
We can only recommend this tour with Viktoria and would participate again anytime! Thank you!

Fun way to see the city - Most of our group has done a decent amount of paddle boarding, so we didn't really do much of the lesson part, but we had a fun time seeing Ljubljana from the water. The first part of the tour was before most of the boats start, so it was incredibly smooth water too. Everything was well communicated and went smoothly. Definitely enjoyed the experience.

Fun and active way to see Ljubljana - A serene morning exploring Ljubljana from a different perspective. I joined a tour with my son - he was slightly younger than the recommended age, but they were willing to accommodate him on his own board as he was keen to try it out. Our guide Viktorija went out of her way to make sure he had an enjoyable experience and that everyone in the group could go at the pace needed - he spent various times paddling himself, then at times he got tired so she hooked his board onto hers so he could still paddle but with some help from her, and at other times he came on my board and she towed his board. She gave us lots of information about Ljubljana and overall made it a really fun morning. It was definitely harder work on the way back, paddling against the flow of the river!
