Well organised trip and so much much beauty to see - Great day trip, so well organised, with Alinka as an excellent guide. She had so much valuable information to share about Slovenia. The Skocjan caves are incredible (and the workout is medium, we were worried it would be too hard due to health issues but we could manage it, quite a few stairs though), and Piran is just stunning. We highly recommend this trip with Viator

This tour was an amazing... - This tour was an amazing addition to my trip in Slovenia. The cave system was massive and awe inspiring. Piran was a charming town, we had about two hours to explore which was just enough time to eat and walk around a bit. Our guide was great, she gave us a lot of information during the drive. Would definitely recommend

Great, great tour experience! - Grazd…Hope I remembered the name right….was our guide. He was great. Waited at each meeting point for us, on time and shared lots of Slovenian information and history on our drive. He took us to a viewpoint showing three countries…Italy, Slovenia and Croatia…..as a side point. It was a full day. Both stops are not to be missed if you go to Slovenia. Never seen anything like these caves and if you like seaside towns with amazing views for lunch, then do this tour. Piran was stunning and really not crowded which made for an excellent lunch experience with stunning sea views. Enjoyed this day immensely. We only had 5 in our van.

Caves to Coast, What’s not to Love - Caves to Coast, what’s not to love. Skocjan caves are other worldly, a fascinating journey to the centre of the earth. It is a well organised guide to arrive at the entry, traverse through the caves and to then ascend back out through the forest. Photos are not permitted and I wish all appreciated this, all I did was download photos by professionals that night which captured exactly what we’d seen. No photos ensures a smoother, less interrupted experience. It was then on to Piran, an idealist seaside town. Glorious afternoon spent wandering the narrow alleyways, enjoying seafood and wine, and strolling the promenade. Our guide, I’m so sorry should have written down your name🙄, was a delight. She warned us that she talks a lot which was wonderful as it made the driving go faster and we learnt so much. Sharing her life experiences was very special, thank you.

Awesome caves, but no photos permitted. - The Skocjan caves are amazing, though it's disappointing that no photos are allowed. The area around Piran is interesting as a Mediterranean experience. The guide/driver (Nina) was excellent - very professional and courteous.
