Guanacaste unforgettable - This tour was phenomenal in every way. Our guide Robert and all staff we met throughout the day were exceptionally courteous, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about the adventures. Waterfalls, hanging bridges, and a beautiful river raft ride await you…in addition to sloths, crocodiles, and many more amazing creatures and plant life. You will not be disappointed by the delicious authentic lunch either.

Wild Nature and Adventure Combo by Destination Services was the best experience of our seven-day vacation in Costa Rica - Destination Services Wild Nature and Adventure Tour combo made up for all the travel nightmares caused by United Airlines, where we arrived a day late and had to pick up our bags at the airport on the 5th day of our seven-day vacation. See my separate review of Costco Travel's Westin Resort Reserva Conchal All-Inclusive vacation package on Trip Advisor. Also, my separate review of the Marlin Del Rey Catamaran sailing and snorkeling sunset cruise on Trip Advisor. This package included four stops and adventures. Heliconias Miravalles hanging bridges suspended along the rainforest treetops offers a spectacular view. We took a 1 1/2 hour walking tour along steep climbs between the bridges exploring the fauna and flora. @cataratas_llanosdelcortes waterfall park with the White-Headed Capuchin https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/.../File:White-Headed... at the entrance. Carlos, the bus driver, personally assisted my wife in climbing up and back. Sloth encounters a restaurant and garden where we saw a female two-toed sloth with a baby and two more three-toed sloths, Strawberry poison-dart frog https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strawberry_poison-dart_frog and other fauna and flora. More fauna and flora at the Sloth Encounter park: red ginger https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpinia_purpurata, Rufus Motmot https://birdsforbeer.com/.../rufous-motmot-nesting-at.../, Mud wasps cave, Begonia coccinea Scarlet begonia https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Begonia_coccinea. A two-hour floating tour in a raft along the Corobici River, one of @_guanacaste most powerful rivers and home to abundant wildlife. We saw at least six Crocodiles https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crocodile several iguanas, including the Mexican spiny-tailed iguana https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ctenosaura_pectinata, roseate spoonbill https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roseate_spoonbill and white-faced capuchin monkeys, bats, mud wasp nests, among others. Roberto, the oarsman on the raft, kept us in stitches by howling at the monkeys, who would howl back at him. He also had sharp eyesight to spot wildlife of any size and camouflage. We also stopped (last bonus stop) at a reserve operated by a family where each of the three families was allowed to plant a small tree that we could watch growing over time through pictures that they would email us. We left the Westin at 7 am and returned to our hotel by 8 pm, the best 13 hours spent in Costa Rica.
