• Osorno - Departing from your accommodation in Puerto Varas at 3:30 am, the journey begins towards the Osorno Volcano. The first step is to register the ascent at the CONAF office, the authority overseeing national parks.
  The trek involves a 2-hour walk over rocks and volcanic stones to reach the point where all necessary safety gear will be donned. The ascent continues until reaching the final challenge, climbing the steepest section through ice and snow. Upon conquering this last adventure, the summit of the Osorno Volcano, standing at 2,652 meters above sea level, is reached. Here, the breathtaking view can be enjoyed before starting the descent.

IMPORTANT: The ascent covers approximately 6 km (around 12 km round trip). The route begins with stone and volcanic sand, transitioning to snow and ice in summer, and is covered in ice and snow during winter.
