We will observe the imposing Seracs of the Osorno Volcano Glacier from a privileged place where not many dare to arrive. We will contemplate the unique landscape that this area offers us with views of Lake Llanquihue, Calbuco Volcano, Sierra Santo Domingo and Petrohué River.

Osorno - Departing early from accommodations in Puerto Varas, the journey begins towards the base of the majestic Osorno Volcano, which stands at 2,652 meters. The group will reach the Ski Center at 1,200 meters above sea level to prepare for a hike to the Glacier viewpoint, located at 1,800 meters above sea level, with an ascent lasting at least 3 hours. Upon reaching the destination, there will be time to rest and admire the distinctive Seracs of the glacier.
The descent will lead to the Red Crater, one of the many accessible side craters of the volcano. The descent continues until the walk concludes at the starting point, where transportation will be available to return to Ensenada.
IMPORTANT: The hike covers 3 km (6 km total round trip). The route consists of stone and volcanic sand in summer, and snow and ice in winter.
