Our Welcome to London Experience was Perfectly Fabulous! - After 5 amazing days in Paris, we arrived off the Eurostar Train to our London Foodie Tour. We were rushed, tired, and late. But upon our arrival, our guide Dave, was phenomenal! He warmly and graciously welcomed us, despite having to wait for us, and set the tone for an Amazing London Adventure. We had the absolute best time and our tour far exceeded our expectations. We ate and drank delicious offerings, walked through historical areas we would have never otherwise known about, and we also learned a great deal about London and it's storied past from our knowledgable, fun, and entertaining host! Dave's mastery of the English Language made for an exciting journey as he painted a vivid tale of all the "bits and bobs"of London and its lore. I highly recommend this experience - and Dave made it extra special! Thank you!

Highlight of our trip to London - The historic pub tour was the highlight of our trip to London! We learned a bit of history in a part of town we wouldn’t have otherwise visited, and were able to fit a taste of all the typical British foods in one afternoon. It rained all afternoon, however, if you dress properly it’s not a problem. A fun afternoon was spent with Leigh! Great tour guide!

Eat and Drink your way through 500 years of history - Leigh was a fantastic tour guide who brought the old docks and old pubs to life! We started at the Mayflower Pub in Rotherhithe, traveled through brunel's tunnel to Wapping were we visited 3 more pubs ending near Saint Katherine's dock. There was a good balance of walking tour + eating/drinking at pubs. Come ready rested and hungry and if you like beer I highly recommend opting for Premium Drink Package. This way you can get a pint instead of 1/2 a pint at each stop!

Five Stars Are Not Enough - I can't say enough about this tour and our guide, Leigh Savage. My friend and I were unfortunately delayed by nearly 30 minutes and Leigh was so gracious and kind about. We were also fortunate to have tour guide Lauren join us. They were each so informative and charming, giving us just enough information and just enough time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, in an area of London where we had never been. The beers (and cider!) were all tasty, as were the tasty treats at each stop. I could do without the black pudding bread though!! I'll recommend this tour, these guides, and the tour company to anyone I know traveling to Europe! Well done.

A local pub tour you don't want to miss! - This Pub Tour by Eating Europe isn't one you'll want to miss out on while in London. Leigh, the tour guy, has been in the area for years and really knows his history. He meets everyone at a little area by the Thames River on 123 Rotherhithe St. which has a great view & explains the local history. Then off we went to explore four local historic pubs, getting the best fish & chips, bangers & mash, and beef pie I had on the entire trip and of course local beer! The serving sizes are pretty big & filling! We took the train through the underground tunnel that used to be a walking tunnel under the Thames. Don't forget your Oyster (train- it's worth getting this for your entire London trip) card or purchase a train ticket prior to the tour. All of the Pubs Leigh took us too were great. We couldn't choose a favorite one. At the end of the tour Leigh gives us Pork Cracklings to enjoy later. Leigh was very personable & we had a great time spending the afternoon with him and the rest of the group. If you're in London definitely look up the Eating Europe London 4 pub tour and Leigh!
