- Overall it was a great experience. Topview has associates at a lot of the stops to assist with information. Headphones were provided on the bus and has a plug in at every seat for an audio description of the sites you pass by. Would be nice if they filled in the time with more facts about London, but it was a nice feature. We did the London Entertainers walk and the Jack the Ripper tour. Both were guided by Craig who was a marvelous guide. Passionate storytelling and a brisk pace made these tours fun, entertaining, and really enjoyable while not taking up the entire day. I highly recommend. It was a little confusing finding some of the meeting points. The interactive map doesn't show your current location so it took a little searching on Google maps to navigate to bus stops and the tour meeting locations . So some room for improvements but overall was exactly what I was hoping for and really enjoyed it. First time visiting London from USA.

Sightseeing in London Town - Great regular service provided with commentary both audio ear piece and live person. Special mention to James on commentary and Tony Ryan on the ground.

Great tour, not enough buses for the scheduled times to be met. - Bus route was great and the accompanying audio, however the lack of buses meant waits of 40 minutes, whilst other tour operators had 3 buses in that time. Might have been a bad day, don't know, the guides had disappeared by 5pm.

Top View...Top Stress 😫 - I blame myself for not reading the reviews on tripadvisor first. 😤Lesson learned. Not well run. There is no way of knowing when next bus will arrive, on the app or website, which is pretty useless, no customer service, lackluster walking tours. Probably should have figured we chose poorly when all of our busses were nearly empty. We waited an hour for one so we were super stressed that we would miss the river cruise (it was "just ok") but turns out we could have taken the later one which was not disclosed by the app or website when reserving. As a result of the stress, we missed the entertainers walk, and saw no museum exhibits ever though they were FREE. Terrible. Just terrible.

Not worth it - Too long waiting for the buses. No one to tell us the time. The bus stops on the maps (paper and online) are incorrect (cf stop 26).

Who hurt you, TopView? - When we got to stop 16, where the guided tour begins, at 10am, the guy there told us the guided tour actually started at 9:30 and 1:30. I said the website says 10:30 and 2, and he said, “yeah, it’s wrong.” Maybe fix your website so people don’t spend £££££ on a tour that they can’t actually get? After walking and walking to get to an out of the way spot?

Poor Experiences with Viator! - Viator, appears to be just a booking agent for other tours, left us in the dark about where the hop on hop off stations were. First time in London and don’t have any idea, no map provided. Nothing. They were just to booking agent for this company. We found another hop on hop off on our own and purchased that. Needless to say, we paid double. Several years ago, I loved going through Viator, but I’m completely done with them. Had a horrible experience at the Tower of London also. The Tower ticket takers said they had been experiencing this problem a lot lately. Trying to get the ticket was a real hassle. It just kept putting us in a loop that never completed itself. Of course, Viator, again, was just the booking agent.

No refund. Double purchase. Viator mistake - I purchase 3 tickets and the LDN number wouldn't load onto the app. I did a live chat with Viator and I asked the person to refund the tickets if I couldn't get them to work. I asked him to wait to do the refund request until I had spoken to the person on site at the hop on hop off. He did the request before I had an opportunity to speak with the person. I ended up purchasing three more tickets on site and three from fire Then my request for a refund for the first three was denied so I paid $320 for three tickets for a hop on hop off bus I am not happy. I have copies of the additional tickets that I purchased and I'm still wanting to re-request a refund. The person from via Tara told me that the ID numbers wouldn't work with an iPhone and that I should try a new browser which was ridiculous because I was traveling and all I had was my phone. They weren't helpful and the tour was super expensive very disappointed that I did not get a refund and that I paid an ridiculous amount of money for a hop on hop off bus since I had to pay twice.

The worst Hop on Hop Off service in London ! Topview is the most unreliable company ! - We booked our tickets with Topview Hop on and Off for Saturday 21 June and received very little information about the times and where the buses can be located. The app provided very little information and was a waste of time! We arrived in London early and tried to get a bus and waited for two hours. We were told to go to their office in Coventry and could not gain access. Although there was a protest planned for the day all the other bus companies still provided adequate services ! We then walked to Trafalgar Square and met Jason a representative of the company who assisted us and he was absolutely amazing. We got a bus at about 10:30 and got to the pier. We missed the 11:00 boat cruise due to the delay in the bus service and we were fortunately allowed to go on a later cruise ! This delayed us and half of our day was wasted by waiting for a bus and trying to get information without success ! We had very little time to visit any of the tourist attractions and only managed to go on the cruise - see the Tower Bridge and castle and then we had to rush to meet the walking tour guide at 3pm. Immediately after our guided walk we were directed to walk back to the bus stop to get a bus near the Tower Bridge in order for us to return to Marble Arch. We again waited 45 minutes for a Topview Bus to arrive. Hundreds of other buses came by ! When the bus finally arrived we informed the driver that we wanted to go to stop 1 at Marble Arch to get our train from Marylebone station. The bus however stopped near Victoria station and we were summarily told to leave the bus and left stranded !! We had a train ticket from Marylebone Station and had to make our own way there. It was a terrible experience and I would never recommend Topview to anyone. The bus drivers were rude and unhelpful. There are many other more reliable and visible bus companies operating this service including the Red Bus who clearly had 100 more buses available than Topview ! I would never recommend Topview !!!!
