Great tour of British Museum with Student of History! - Our guide was a college history student working on an MS degree. He was passionate about the tour and able to show us those things most likely to be of interest to us. He answered questions we posed and was honest about what he could not answer. This was a great tour.

Tour of British Museum and the National Gallery - Request Steph :). Steph was an amazing guide!. We had great communication of where to meet & what to expect before the tour. Steph texted me the morning of our tour. Steph’s knowledge of art, historical facts and fun stories/facts about the art/artist/artifacts made our tour a 10+. We had plenty of time to view both museums after each tour as well. We learned so much. Truly a great day & memory.

Yes! British imperial Museum, and the national portrait Gallery in just one day - Fabulous communication. Easy meeting point. Matilda hit the highlights of both museums in great fashion. She also covered a lot of details that we also would not have seen. I highly recommend this tour and Matilda to anyone considering this museum tour. Matilda‘s experience coupled with her vast knowledge made it quite a pleasure.

Easy and terrific experience - do not miss - Easy to book, easy to find the fabulous guide Matilda. With so much to see and so many museums to see in London, we chose this tour for maximum effect. Boy did Matilda our terrific tour guide deliver on maximum effect. She got us in to both museums easily, directed us and thoroughly explained the highlights of each piece in each museum. Her patience and knowledge know no bounds. She is terrific with all levels have experience and questions. We were recollecting at the end of the day commenting on what a great job she did explaining these important pieces. We would not have had the same experience if it was not for Matilda. Thank you, Matilda. I highly recommend Matilda in this particular to museum tour well in London. Well worth your time.

A thoughtful and engaging look at the artifacts themselves and England’s imperfect history in acquiring them. - Jake was our tour guide for our family of 5 and another family of 3. We were all older teens and parents. It is an incredible tour, especially when you only have 2 1/2 hours for the whole museum (that you could spend days in). He basically took us through the development of human history with a balanced and thoughtful view on British Imperialism and its role in the museum artifacts itself. I highly recommend, but it is a rapid-paced tour, so prepare to be mesmerized, intrigued and TIRED.

James was great! - James was very friendly and had a wealth of knowledge about the museum! Without him, we would’ve faltered and fumbled around the museum without direction. We could’ve kept him for another eight hours and still had more to see. When I come back to London, to see the rest, we will request James! He was great!

National Gallery and British Museum - We got a terrific tour of the National Gallery and the British Museum with Alex. He did an amazing job helping us understand the highlights of these huge collections — really made it all digestible for us and our 9 year old. Excellent context and some really interesting stories and viewpoints — we learned a lot and had a great time.

2 museums in a day. - Becky was awesome! I would highly recommend her guiding services, if you are able to request. The semi-private group was great and it was just the right amount of folks for a great experience.

Wonderful experience at the British Museum. - Becky was wonderful. She met us where we expected. She had tickets and line information down which made it easy to enter the museum. She was a historian who gave us the historical context and her current knowledge of the present situations with many of the artifacts in the museum, without adding a political spin to things. She made sure we got to the Rosetta Stone first for pictures before the crowd. Just a delight. I cannot recommend Becky highly enough, a lovely host for the UK in general let alone the museum.
