Great Tour - Bilal is phenomenal. Great tour guide showed us around the land marks and told us where to go. He knows where the best fish and chips is.

Nice way to see London highlights - Nice way to see the city. The live guide was a plus as I was expecting recorded commentary via the earphones. Would recommend doing in the daytime as it was difficult to see certain things at night.

Poor Audio, long waits, times… use a guide or Uber. - Purchased a same day tickets and read it would take 3:30 to complete a loop of the blue route. Wanted to see a lot to see what to make stops at to tour. It took us 4:43 min
The bus we had didn’t have a working audio, kept glitching and making a squeamish sound.
The bus driver stops at a stop for 24 min for a purported driver change. They put us on a new bus and said wait for a bit , but feel free to grab a coffee.
We didn’t have a lot if time after the bus trip since routes close down early.
I chatted with customer service to be told sorry things happen.
Very disappointed, spoke with other passengers from all of the world and we’ve come to the consensus that maybe BigBus once was good but it wasn’t anymore.
Very disappointed in the whole process, there wasn’t even a lot of traffic as it was February.
Hopefully this feedback will allow others to see it’s kind of a money grab. Once you pay you’ll never know what service you’ll get

CHAOTIC AND OVERCROWDED - Bought the hop on hop off bus tour as part of a London City Pass. Was using the bus as a means of getting from a to b as well as for doing the mandatory sightseeing.
Firstly, the route planning on the app, online and on the printed maps is the most confusing thing I've ever read. It seems to follow no sequential order so trying to work out how long it will take to get from one point to another is literally impossible.
Secondly, the 3 buses we got on all had driver's with attitudes. Nobody was prepared to help and advise apart from simple one word answers.
Then the worst was the overloading. They simply let more and more people on the bus, so much so that you couldn't even get a seat - not sure how you are supposed to listen to the commentary.
Another very frustrating issue was the fact that because we took so long at the stops trying to fit everyone one, we missed a booking (which was part of the City Tour) at the Sherlock Escape Experience and they would not let us rebook as it was not their issue that we were late.
I've done hop on hop off bus tours in New York, Cape Town, Istanbul, Sydney, Paris and a few others - this was the worst by far.
