Good for a break from the normal London trip! - This was a very pleasant surprise! I was quietly dreading the prospect of going to this place because being in London , and out of the way from the main areas of the usual tourist hotspots etc, but its the complete opposite, its calm , peaceful, and relaxing! The enclosures are very spacious, the animals look extremely happy and healthy, especially the Gorillas, two were play fighting over a sack which i found very amusing, the restaurant was spotless, the prices for food were pretty honest ,we didnt eat here because we still had food in our bags, the staff were fantastic, very friendly, and very helpful. I would definitely visit again , getting to the zoo is extremely easy,id recommend a taxi or bus from Camden Station though if you have mobility issues as its about a 20 minute walk . The walk back through Regents park after is lovely, and again, peaceful you wouldn’t believe your in The Capital! See you again in the future

Penguin experience for the win - I went on the penguin keeper experience today which was genuinely amazing! We got to pet the penguins and a few bites, but this was way more than I expected! So worth it! Carrie, Joy, and Suzanne were great with taking photos, explaining things, and keeping the grumpy penguins away. 5 stars 🙌🏽

London Zoo revisited 👍 - I haven’t visited London Zoo for many years and it was lovely to see it again with my family. Admissions were quick and easy with friendly staff, and we were able to see lots of the animals in their enclosures, while they still had places to be hidden if they wanted to be. Felt a millions miles away absorbed in their environment, considering we were in the heart of London, and we’ll definitely be back soon 😊

Enjoyed our day fed the penguins - It was a really hot day but plenty of shade and places to get food and drink - not too big for a 3 year old who e joyed it - most of the animals were asleep but did see baby gorilla and lion cubs - would recommend as all staff were friendly and helpful

Great Day out with the Animals - Absolutely loved this experience. We had a full day seeing all the animals and learning more about them. The baby penguins were adorable and even managed to get my fiancé to go in the butterfly house, which was beautiful (and surprisingly cooler than the weather outside). We even managed to see some bugs from her Animal Crossing game (surprisingly great way to learn about nature) which was a cool coincidence! Much recommended!

A decent family day out - We visited for the day with our two year old making use of the blue light discount t whilst visiting family. The Zoo was excellent with a great variety of animals in good quality enclosures with plenty of signage displayed to inform us about the animals etc. The restaurant was extremely busy and the servers were really slow which didn't help matters. The food was average and priced as you would expect in such a venue in London. The gift shop was large and had plenty on offer, there were plenty toilets located around the zoo which were clean.

Not the best. - I am sorry to say, but I have gone twice this year to london zoo and it's like spot the animals! There were soo many empty animal unit's and all I was seeing was leaves and no animals. The ticket prices are so expensive..for what? There needs to be more animals and a more interactive experience with them. I want to be WOW'd when I go to the zoo. There were no hippos..couldn't see the crocodile..There were big cases with leaves in but nothing in them! Me and my kids found it a boring experience sadly and found the ice creams stools and face painting more exciting. The price of the tickets are simply just not worth it. Tickets for children and adults should at least be around £12 each. I don't think I will return to the zoo until they place more animals there.

Expensive and depressing - Depressing, the animals looked so sad and alone, it actually made me so sad seeing them so sad and lonely mostly the lion and gorilla. Very expensive tickets and not proper guide or people to help to show around. The family playground and water play was good.
