A wonderful experience - A wonderful experience for anyone who loves marine life. I visited with family including a 9 year old and 6 year old who were both mesmerised by the exhibits. Seeing the turtles was really something special. A must visit if in the area.

The family thought it was worth the budget. Although I expected to see more like the beluga whale - It was nice and the kids love it. There’s a diverse group of sea species some of which are my first time to see. Worth the time

The theme! - Loved this aquarium! It literally has a theme. So creative and fun. I definitely must see if you’re visiting London with the little ones. It’s right next to the London Eye, Westminster Bridge and close to Big Ben. So there’s multiple things to see!!

Highlight of the day - We had a magical experience looking at the array of aquatic life and learning new facts along the way. Every habitat was clearly well looked after, and the animals all seemed to live in a level of harmony that you might see in the wild. The rainforest section was a lovely change of scenery- the ants were amazing to watch! The gift shop and photo opportunity were a welcome end to our venture around.

Overpriced tourist trap - Not a great experience, it's very cramped inside and during peak times it was harsh to move around without constantly bumping into others and having your view obstructed by tourists. Overall it's very overpriced for what it is, not a wide range of sea life to view. An afternoon would be better spent somewhere else

Refused an 8 year old child with a disability to use the toilet, they were to interested in closing. - My 8 year old granddaughter who suffers from lactose’s intolerance suddenly need the toilet. We explained that she had a disability and the security guard refused followed by the two woman who were more interested in selling us pictures. When I said that I was going to put it on Tripadvisor one of the lovely staff said fill your boots. Obviously they do not care about children and people with disabilities. Top quality venue.

Avoid until they improve Standards. It’s 2026!! Poor Animals - Where to start!!!! To charge £35 for a 4yr old was unacceptable given the state of the aquarium. In 2026 to see visibly dirty tanks was shocking. The tanks are all far too small & compared to aquariums around the world like Cape Town, Vancouver etc. The Tanks for the turtles & the penguin enclosure even left our children in tears. The animals looked miserable & it is pure cruelty. Your largest tank is the ‘highlight’ & you give guests four different views of the SAME THING as though it’s a different attraction.

Avoid this place at all cost, it’s horrendous - I was overwhelmed when I visited here. Can you believe that such cruelty exists every day right in our capital city ? Wild animals, in particular Gentoo penguins kept in horrendous conditions - no fresh air, no sunlight, not enough room to dive or swim as per the wild. Not only is this going on but a large company are making lots of money by charging people to view it. Sounds so ridiculous that it is made up but no, this is true. In any case should sea creatures ever be kept in a concrete underground enclosure in a Western European capital city ? Don’t get conned, don’t buy tickets for this place.

Worst Sea Life we've been to - Rip Off! - We bought a few different Merlin experiences on one ticket to enjoy being random tourists. We chose the Sea Life Centre as the others in other places we've been have been awesome. Simply put. DON'T. Don't go. When we arrived we were half an hour early. There were few queues so we chanced getting in early. The guy wouldn't let us in saying we needed to come at only the time we were booked. OK, that's fine, but the guy was needlessly standoffish and seemed to enjoy lording it over paying customers. As we were leaving, we heard him being rude to another lady as well. Not a good start. When we got in, it was HEAVING. Loads of kids - OK, it's a weekend so that's not a surprise - but everybody was like sardines. You just couldn't move. They had made a song and a dance of saying your booking times were there to space out how much footfall there was but it was do busy, we couldn't see any of the animals or displays. It was unpleasant and it was crammed. Add to this the absolute cheek of charging you for more stuff when you get in - oh yes, your ticket doesn't give you access to a whole bunch of things inside, such as the VR devices or the hurricane machine - and I can genuinely say we felt ripped off. What's the point of having a tourist destination when they cram so many people in that you can't see anything? What a rip off. Don't waste your money. Merlin do better tourist activities in London for better value. Not this.
