An absolute hidden gem. - Looking for something different to do we searched for unusual museums and chose The BRANDS MUSEUM. This is a fantastic hidden gem. It traces shopping trends and brands, well known and long forgotten through from Victorian times until the modern-day. It suggests a timed visit could take 1-2 hours, we could have stayed twice as long. The cafe provides some tasty snacks and there is a quaint garden attached where you can sit and eat. We can't recommend THE BRANDS MUSEUM highly enough it's wonderful.😀

Fantastic visit - This is an amazing museum. My husband and I are in our 60s and it was so interesting seeing the items we remembered from our childhood and how little or much brands had changed over the years. It was well put together and we spent a most enjoyable couple of hours looking around, could have spent longer but had to visit family. Did't use the cafe but it looked clean and the cakes looked lovely. Toilet facilities also very clean.

Nostalgia meets new memories. it’s a must visit! - Where do I start with the brand museum it’s immersive You start in 1900’s and there are things that you recognise being in a great grandma or grandma’s houses but also things that strike you like HMV dog then you go round and see things that you sort of like you know like heniz as an example then you go to things that you do know but not necessarily your era example blue Peter or wombals but as went as group your all different generations so each era you looking at something else that is a memory excitement for them to show you then you going in to a part that is your childhood and then it’s you that is the host even low they lived through it it’s the presenting of the childlike excitement that each person has been the narrator to there memory’s to others it’s floor to ceiling and as walk round the more you go or look and hear a chorus of things like what cabury’s wasn’t purple? Or you can tell when plastic came in words of disapproval come from each corner then back to the oh oh look look being thrown round like confetti and as your surfing on the high of nostalgia boom in comes the gift shop and money is burning a whole in your pocket and there so much to choose from you buy your pocket memories , and with the booklet in your hand you go out and be there biggest advocate how brilliant it was and it that moment the museum becomes the brand!

Great experience - Me and my friend came here a few days ago for a visit and we really enjoyed it! Really recommend it. A nostalgic walk through the history of consumerism since the 1800 until 2010!

Better than expected! - This museum was better than expected! It provided British history through the lens of consumerism. I booked the visit when I had a little time to kill in the area, and left wishing I had a little more time to keep exploring.

Worth a visit! - Loved this museum, full of nostalgia. So many brands from childhood. Interesting to see how packaging has changed over the years. Much more plastic now. It's a good exhibition starting in the Victorian era to present day. Exhibits include foodstuffs, music, pop culture, household products, the lot. A few minutes from Ladbroke Grove tube station. Pre-booked our visit but you can go anytime. Lovely cafe too.

Good fun -worth a visit. Staff need training. - Enjoyed this museum. Loads crammed into a trail of history. This, in chronological order means you start to see things your parents had - the what you had and then what’s in your cupboard now. Welcome was amateurish and no engagement or direction. That was disappointing. Cafe shuts half way through the afternoon at 15.00 hrs. I guess it’s still developing. But a great visit.

Really enjoyable wee museum - We saw this on TikTok and decided to visit. A really enjoyable hour or so wandering through the exhibit. Lots of reminiscing (about the more recent things) and interesting to see how much things have changed. It promoted us to start chatting about things we'd forgotten about. Worth a visit.
