Step back into history - An excellent day of history. Our yoeman guide was excellent, giving us his best attempt at humor. The staff were all helpful and courteous. The crown jewels were breathtaking, so beautiful. We enjoyed an excellent day listening to the ravens and exploring the tower.

A Must Do in London! - The Tower of London is a must do when in London. it was actually my second time to visit, but I could go back again and again, and see something different every time. Built in 1078, it has seen its share of both triumphant, but also sad history. The first time, I had an audio guide, but this time we went with the Yeomen Warders tour. It was fabulous. Matt was funny, interesting, and informative. He was able to pack a lot of history in a 30 minute tour. HIGHLY recommended.

A definite highlight - Amazing! The Tower of London was my favorite museum in London. The jewels are really cool to look at and it's neat that you're walking into the actual vault where they keep them. But the real gem is taking a Yeomen tour of the Tower. You can do it for free during set times. I learned so much about the city of England and the very public arrests and executions that occurred.

When you laugh, laugh, and laugh again, at the Tower of London - This was a short tour of a dreary place (famous for its prisoners and their executions, mostly beheadings) under a loaded sky—normal weather in London. But our guide, Darren Hardy, made it worth every minute of it, and more. We laughed, learned, and laughed again, until the short tour was over. We saw the crown jewels too: famous stolen stones that have travelled more than most people—we did it, check, move on. And now, thinking back, Darren was definitely the highlight of our day. Thank you Mr Hardy, sir.

Great Tour! - Once again, fantastic history! I highly recommend joining the free Beefeater tours that start every 30 minutes just inside the entrance gates. The Beefeaters are very knowledgeable, witty and provide tons of historical background on the Tower.

Very Good History - We arrived on Sunday morning, the security and entrance was quick. We did not rent the headsets but the signage was good and painted a good historical picture of the Tower.

Tower of London and more - Very interesting place to visit with the Crown Jewels and the Museum of English weapons and armor. Wish we would have had more time. We also were able to see a guard change.

Amazing visit to The Tower! - Hubby & I visited London for days before getting on a cruise in Southampton. Our visit to the tower was outstanding. I am a history nerd & this was amazing. We went straight in & saw the Crown Jewel. I had read to go early and do it first. I would agree later on when we were leaving the queue had gotten long. There are a lot of stairs, & it was very warm inside the white tower. I loved the tight, winding stairs: hubby did not. We were there about 2 hours, it wasn’t enough time. I definitely could have hung out there longer. We got the audio tour. I wouldn’t do that again, I think a guided tour would be better from what I have read.
