Tour guide, Dina, was warm and genuine and her love for the East end was endearing.
Our guide Sarah was fantastic she made it very personable and was a pleasure to be with.
Our two guides (I am absolutely blanking on their names) were absolutely wonderful and made everyone feel welcomed. Additionally, the different places we visited were some of the best places I've tried in London so far ... so much so I'm tempted to book another tour. The east end tour was definitely a great way to spend my Sunday morning!! 100% recommend this to any foodie visiting the city.
Our guide, Felicity, was great - vibrant, enthusiastic and friendly. The range of foods covered was very good, of an excellent quality and plentiful. Apart from the food, which I loved, so much fascinating information was provided about the history of Spitalfields and how immigration has influenced this area over the centuries. There was a perfect blend of information, walking and eating. Well done, I have already recommended this tour to my friends!
Flic made a truely wonderful job
The combination of historical facts, delicious food selections, and absolutely amazing tour guide makes this tour an absolute must if you come to London. I can’t recommend this enough.
Our guide was really good - she was a good leader, funny and told us a lot of gppd stories. We were also very fortunate as this was a very good group of people.
Because the guide (Lauren) was absolutely amazing - kept the tour moving, engaged every guest, knew a lot about the places and food and was just truly a pleasure to be around.
Our guide made the whole trip. Very personal and flexible with us Knowledgeable of the area and what we were eating. I
It was by far one of the finest and most interesting tours I have ever been on.
I ate amazing food met great people and learnt so much about East London’s history.
You haven’t really been in London if you haven’t done this tour
Definitely geared towards meat eaters! As a vegetarian, some of the options were a lot less exciting, and there’s usually bunches of veggie options you can often find on any menu! On a different note, loved our lady tour guide - she was simply a delight!
We really enjoyed the food tour. Our guide Lauren, was absolutely fantastic, warm and engaging, and a delight to spend several hours seeing East End with. Most of the stops and the food tastings were fabulous, mostly because the food was delicious but also because they were so different and very emblematic of the east end. Our only slight complaint was that the fish and especially the chips at Poppies were not that good, and the proprietor, who turned up midway through our tasting, was so rude to us - we thought- and to Lauren, that I would never put up with that as a customer, and so I would never go back there. Aside from that it was a most enjoyable tour. Thank you
Lauren was an excellent tour guide. Although it was raining the entire tour, Lauren stayed upbeat and enthusiastic. The food choices were excellent and in the perfect order.
Food was hit and miss. Some great, others just ok. Our tour guide was awesome.
Great variety of food and places to visit. Zarah also provided a lot of info about the area itself.
Lauren was fantastic! Her personality and expertise made the tour fun and informative, and all the food was delicious. Well done!
Josie was amazing! We really could not have asked for a better tour - the food was amazing with a wide variety, the people in our group were a lot of fun, but Josie added so much to the tour with her outgoing, welcoming, friendly attitude. If you are looking at this tour, I highly recommend it with Josie. The food tour was an absolute highlight of our trip to London!
The tour was really well structured and the stops were in a reasonable distance. However the value for money was not good. When I received the voucher a few years ago the price was 65 GBP. I think a price of 70GBP would be more appropriate that on some of the stops we received a small beer and cider which was most certainly worth less than 10 Pounds.
Flic made this walking tour so enjoyable with her bubbly personality and vast knowledge of the area and history. It was all new to us. Great restaurant and sampling choices too! Highly recommend this tour!
Josie was so full of enthusiasm and information, she made the excursion amazing even without the spectacular food. Seeing “real” London vs tourist London is a treat.
I loved that it wasn't only discovering food, but also the history of the neighbourhood. The guide was also very friendly and excited, which was a plus. Also, the small groups were an advantage.
The final stop felt quite far away from the other 6 - and it was tough to keep the group together as we pushed through the Shoreditch market on a Sunday morning.
Food was great all around (including our beer/cider stop) and WE LOVED SARAH.
The combination of history and great food is the ideal match.
good guides who gave a lot of Information about the restaurants, the food and the area
The confirmation we got for the tour were great - explanations how to get to the meeting point with a map of the area etc, a reminder for the tour
Sarah was our tour guide and she did a great job explaining the East End of London and taking us to great food locations. Sarah was well knowledgeable and had a good personality. She knew exactly how to fit in with the tour group. Sarah was very professional and knew how to have a good time on the tour, while still providing us with great information about the city and the food choices.
This was our second time taking this tour. We absolutely loved it the first time, but this time the cutbacks were felt. They took out one of the advertised stops so that wasn't cool and decreased the tours value for the price paid. Plus our guide was late in arriving, and then spent a lot of the time talking with one of the guests, which left the rest of the group standing around waiting to continue the tour. On a positive, this is still one our favorite London tours and I would recommend it to new tourists looking to taste some of the best "bites" in London!
This food tour was definitely worth the money - it was one of the best we've ever been on. The food selection was absolutely perfect, providing a wide variety of flavors that are key to a London experience. Loved being able to experience London history via food.
The variety and quality of the food was excellent and our tour guide Flic was superb. We learnt so many interesting things about the East End.
Zara kept us entertained with interesting facts and well fed despite the cold wet weather. This was our wedding anniversary treat, so we only have ourselves to blame for the weather.
Excellent Tour. Sarah was our tour guide - she was awesome super nice and knowledge. I would highly recommend to friends and would go again.
Flick the tour guide is amazing! She makes such a difference to the experience. She has such passion and enthusiasm for her job!
Gorgeous food, Flic was a fabulous guide. A wonderful experience all round
Our guide was fun and knowledgeable. Food was great!
The guide was kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. The food was delicious.
The tour was such a fun way to spend a day, our guide Flick made us all so at ease, in fact, she felt like a best friend that loved to chat about history and eat good food, and who doesn’t want a mate like that! I learnt new places in place I thought I already knew well.
