Highly recommend the Walking Bogside History Tour - The tour was a powerful blend of history, storytelling, and local insight, providing a deeply moving and educational journey through one of the most pivotal chapters of Northern Ireland’s history. Our guide was exceptional—knowledgeable, passionate, and empathetic. His vivid descriptions and firsthand accounts gave a balanced perspective on the complex political and social tensions of the time. Walking through the Bogside, we saw iconic landmarks like the Free Derry Corner and the poignant murals that commemorate the struggles of the civil rights movement. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Derry. Whether you’re a history enthusiast or someone looking to gain a deeper understanding of the region’s past, this experience is enlightening and emotionally resonant.

100% Recommend a tour! - My partner and I had a tour with John Burke it was absolutely brilliant! We both loved the tour! We both really enjoyed and found interesting walking around through the community and John explaining the history from each and every corner. He spoke to everyone that passes on the street which was a lovely touch. During the whole tour John made us both feel like we were actually walking through everything back in time. We both would 100% recommend it!

Reliving the 60s and 70s with Jimmy Toye - A walk well worthwhile with Jimmy, about life in the Bogside in the 1960s -70s, and the tragedy of Bloody Sunday in January 1972. Thank you Jimmy.

Absolutely amazing!!!! - Paul Doherty was/is absolutely brilliant! I loved the tour! Loved to hear the history as it happened and as he and the people of Derry personally experienced it. It was amazing and emotional. He is funny, talks to everyone that passes on the street, knows everyone, and during the whole tour, even though I was solo, I felt as part of a group. 100% recommend it!
