Beautiful sunset cruise, great meal and entertainment! - Just had a beautiful sunset cruise on the Thompson River. Nibbles served as we watched the birds and turtles and the sunset! Then a great dinner, dessert, damper and tea and great entertainment from Corinne. Lovely staff who really seem to enjoy having guests and making sure we all have a great time. Well worth the money! Loved it.

Awesome way to spend an evening in Longreach - A beautiful evening on the river with great commentary from our skipper, Leanne. There was a bar onboard and we were snack platters as well. Dinner was delicious, alternate serves of Crisp Skin Barramudi or Lamb Hot Pot followed by dessert and the best damper I have ever had smothered with Golden Syrup. The show was awesome, Corinne the local singer had a beautiful voice and really engaged with the audience. All staff throughout the whole experience were wonderful and attentive. We even got picked up and dropped back to our accommodation which meant we could have a drink or two. My husband and I had the best time!

Lovely Experience - Thoroughly enjoyed the cruise, dinner and show. It was very well organised, perfect timing for each segment, great scenery, lovely food in a beautiful setting, topped off by enjoyable entertainment. The staff were friendly and seamlessly provided excellent service. Perfect end to the day.

What a beautiful bunch of... - What a beautiful bunch of people taking care of us the whole night. From capturing the sunset from the boat to enjoying a delicious dinner around a toasty warm fire followed by a hot billy tea and damper. What more could we want. Thanks Longreach, you certainly delivered.

Longreach Drovers Sunset Cruise - When in Longreach book the Drovers Sunset Cruise Dinner and Show. We were picked up from our accommodation athe Slatbush Retreat and taken to the Thomson River where we boarde our boat. we cruised down the river anbd were served canapes along the way. The Captain explained the various flora and fauna which was most interesting. We sat on the upper deck but some chose to be inside. The cruise down the river was very interesting. we then berthed at a site aloong the river where we had a great dinner. vegetarian and pecatorian options were available. we were entertained by a great singer. Ut was a little chilly but there were roaring campfires strategically placed. There was a well stocked bar. Damper was served. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had such a great time. do not miss this experience

Wonderful outback experience. - The cruise was lovely and the skipper and hostess great. The dinner under the stars, together with the entertaining singer, was a wonderful experience. Great meal, good company and lots of fun. A bonus to the tour was being picked up at our accommodation.
