Absolutely awesome 👌 - The bus ride from our accommodation with Will, who kept us entertained, then the lovely boat ride with nibbles, followed by an absolutely amazing 2 course meal, cooked on an open fire. Wonderful entertainment and Light and sound show, finished off with billy tea and damper with golden syrup 😋 Driven back to our accommodation by Will. Do not miss this experience.

Relaxing cruise - A must do cruise on the Thompson River. Nibbles served, you can BYO alcohol or purchase soft drinks. Relaxing, informative cruise with a commentary on the area. Campfire dinner was a very tasty beef stew, with the best mash potatoes. Plus the BEST billy tea. Desert was an apple banana pie with custard; billy tea was served with damper and golden syrup. I was too full to try this. A light and sound show preceded this. There was also poetry recitals which were amazing.

river cruise great - booking lacking - bush poet - On the other hand the experience with viator phone was "entertaining" and very frustrating. The operator did not know that there was no pick up at the Mitchell grass retreat - took ages to get our details and do the booking - how about more education. I would not use viator again but go direct to the operator. this is not a fake review, it was painfully real

Disappointing - We waited at the designated pick up spot with lots of other people 10 minutes early as recommended. We ended up waiting for forty minutes . There had apparently been bus trouble but we received no apology at pick up . As one of the other waiting guests pointed out they would have had contact details to let someone know . The boat trip was disappointing . There were so many people on board that you couldn’t easily move to get photos. We could not hear the commentary very well. The onboard snacks were not well presented and did not seem cold . The camp oven cook up was ok and dietary needs catered for . The damper was enjoyed by our group members . The poet was enjoyable . The poet’s puppy was extremely distracting - attacking and chewing at one of our group member’s shoe laces and when he was pushed away he nipped the hand . Overall we did not feel this was a value for money experience - having been on other Outback cruises for far less money and with much enjoyment .
