Still young at 60 - Survivor style - My husband and I went on this “survivor type” adventure together and had a blast! Jeff, the owner and our guide, was friendly and made it fun for everyone in our group. We are close to 60 years old and we didn’t have difficulty doing anything so I encourage kids of ALL ages to sign up and have fun.

So much fun! - My family of 6 loved the Escape River Island challenge. Our kids age 16, 15, 12 and 11 all said this was the best activity we did while in Myrtle beach. The challenge starts with a kayak trip down the river to their private island. Once on the island your teams of two compete in 10 survivor like competitions. After the competitions, it’s a kayak race back to the starting line. I highly recommend!

Awesome experience!! A must do in Myrtle Beach!! - Our family 2 adults and 2 teenagers went last minute after a rain out for softball. What an amazing experience!! Our guide Josh was awesome!! Wish we would have found it before the softball tournament would have been a great team event! Highly recommend! Can not wait to come back and do it again! We travel a lot and have not found anything like this!!

Love it, very creative! - Very creative idea. We loved it! Went once and found it super fun and then went back for round two! Definitely challenging but not too hard. Great for all of our group, even with the age range 9-70. The staff are nice and helpful. Activities that you are able to do before or after your adventure are fun (swings, playground, corn hole, and more). Definitely recommend!

Time to put your phone down and go play outside! - What a great way to spend the afternoon! Jeff (the owner) and Libby (our adventure guide) were very welcoming and encouraging. Our party of four was combined with 9 other people ranging in age from 7 to 56 years old. My son and husband won, and although my sister and I were the last group to race back, we really enjoyed the adventure. It was fun using our brains to solve mental and physical challenges. Be sure to use the discount code in the Monster Coupon Book and bring a reusable water bottle with you. Tell your friends - and let me know if you find my brown Panama Jack sunglasses!

Highlight of our trip! - We just got back from our adventure and this was so fun!! We come to myrtle every year but the first time trying this. I'm so glad we did. Would highly recommend if you are looking for something a little different to do. This is fun for the whole family with little kids or big kids or couples!!! I will tell all friends and family about this. The staff was so friendly and the owner was also very nice. This is a great time!!!

Great experience on a girls trip - So much fun. Loved the survivor style challenges. Would love to come back and stay in the treehouse. The kayak part of the trip was the perfect length, refreshing and not too difficult.

Great Day With Grandkids - We took 8 grandchildren, ranging in age from 11 to 21, for a full day of kayaking, paddle boarding, and the ESCAPE RIVER ISLAND CHALLENGE. They had a great time, but the Escape River Island Challenge is the highlight of the day. They form teams of 2 and compete against each other. We let them create their own teams and it was a good mixture of ages and cousins. The events are very different than we expected; not the type of challenges one would experience at a school fair or a big party or a big church event. That's what made it fun for them. We didn't have adults participating, but it would be fun for them too.
My only disappointment was the single kayaks which held water when tipped over. They are not the fully plastic type which are easily righted and don't hold water after they tip over. It didn't diminish their fun, but it made it harder for a couple of younger kids to paddle back to shore (with the heavy water in it) and the facility didn't want them tipped due to possible damage (which the kids said happened accidently.....maybe...). There was no damage to kayaks.
Also, they have a nice picnic area with games and a gas grill. We brought sandwiches and bought drinks. It's a good outdoor facility.
I recommend it for a fun family day, but the Escape River Island Challenge is clearly the highlight!
