Super honest tour company - The tour operator was super honest. They contacted us a few days ahead to cancel the trip due to very few sightings of blue whales. They did not want us to ride in a boat for hours and not seeing a blue whale. Much appreciated. We booked an excursion to the Magdalena Bay to watch gray whales. It was an expensive excursion to travel two hours from Loreto to the Pacific side to have a two hour boat ride in the Magdalena Bay then another two hours on the bus back to Loreto. We saw no whale. Furthermore the tour company actually informed the Princess Cruise not to book any such excursion in January. The gray whales usually come in February.
