Best way to spend a morning in Fuerteventura! - We had a fantastic morning at la Casa del Queso! Elaine and the team (including the goats) were amazing and we had so much fun. One of the most enjoyable and hands on experiences we've ever done, and you get to leave with your own handmade cheese! Couldn't recommend this highly enough

The most amazing experience 🤩 - We have visited the cheesemaking just couple of days ago. Unforgettable experience. We were greeted by Elaine who guided us through the day. She created very warm and relaxed atmosphere. We were able to visit all groups of goats 🐐 at the farm: expectant mothers and the goats who had recently had babies and (the highlight!!!) the baby goats themselves 😇. We were made a part of every process at the farm: milking goats, and yes we all had our chances to practice properly, by hands and using machine; we fed animals, we were able to pet them, spend plenty of time with them. We got to see cheesemaking process and had wonderful breakfast in between. The promise was that we will spend 2,5 hours, but in fact we had almost 4 hours and absolutely did not feel rushed. All necessary clothing protection was provided, like shoes cover and aprons, however i would recommend to wear something you dont mind washing. The goat babies are soo cute and they can get all over you, which was the best part of visit for us, but they can be a bit messy 🙃. Overall it we had the most amazing time and would highly recommend to everyone.

Best part of our holiday! - Fabulous morning! Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking to experience an authentic slice of life on Fuerteventura. Elaine is a great guide and made it all so easy. Everyone we met was so proud of the goats and the farm and enthusiastic about showing us what to do (and very patient!).

Something different - This a great morning doing something different, it's much more fun and informative than the coach tours tha turn up and look at the shop.its a chance to meet the owners and understand what they do while having a laugh. A unique morning away from the usual crowds, total worth getting up early for, and not far from town.

Fabulous hands-on morning- highly recommended!! - What a great hands-on way to spend a morning in Fuerteventura! We milked (by machine and hand) the goats, gave them their feed (including bottle feeding two day old kids) . We then made cheese in the traditional manner which was left to firm up while we finished the farm chores and was then vacuum packed to take home. Breakfast of bread, cheese (obviously!) and jams rounded off the morning. Thanks to the fantastic trilingual Elaine for showing us round - something I’ll always remember and highly recommend. The fresh milk was absolutely delicious!!

A must for all ages!!! - Absolutely amazing!!!! Well worth the money. Everyone was so lovely. Elaine the guide was amazing couldn't ask for anyone better. Held the babies from 3 days old. Went into the pens with all the different ages of goats and fed them all. Cheese making again was amazing. Drank milk straight from the goat (well in a cup first ). Very informative and interesting would highly recommend 👌.

Fantastic experience - Loved this experience, learning about the history, care and management of the goats. Protective gear was provided and we started with the milking, putting treats into the bowls for each goat and then having a go milking by hand and machine - tasting the traditional gofio with milk straight from the goat (tastes like Horlicks!) Then out to feed and put hay/straw out for the different herds. The family who owns the farm, the translator, the goats and the gorgeous little Wolfy dog are all incredibly friendly - I could have spent all day out there! It wasn't long before the milk we had just squeezed out of the goats was ready for us to do some more squeezing with - this time into cheese moulds. While they were settling with added weight on we went for a sit down and taste of some of the cheeses and accompaniments they sell in the shop - finally it's time to get the cheese we made packaged and labelled and ready to take home to either eat fresh or cure a little longer.

Gladly again …. - To start with, we had a delicious Cortado to wake us up. Then we tried on the clothes and got dressed for work. We started by driving the goats into the milking room. Now it was time to milk them, everyone was given instructions on how to do it. First by hand and then with a machine. When the milking was finished, the milk was mixed with rennet, which gave us time to muck out the stable, feed them, pet them and give the kids a bottle. When we had finished working in the stable, we went to the cheese dairy. Everyone learned the activities needed to make goat cheese. At the end, everyone got their cheese. The whole thing was accompanied by breakfast, food and drink. For us, it was a great experience that we still talk about today. A great experience.

Nightmare - Hi . Called them up and asked is it possible they could arrange a pick up at the hotel . Never turned up waited an hour . Called the number they gave me to contact them nobody answered the call ( cost was not cheep ) the hotel then tried to help me . For two months they said they have returned the money to my bank ? Well it’s still not arrived . Would I recommend this ? Nope I had the day trip also which Jane Macdonald did in a UK programme driver came to the hotel . Collected other people then took me ok after 55 mins wait . Don’t worry the trip you are home by 3.30 the driver could not speak English very good and really could not be bothered . Preferred to do the jeeps ? That’s the 12 hour trip ? Well not sure where they got that from
